I have a 2006 Nissan frontier. I’ve had some work done on it I highly recommend. This shop.Edgar was my mechanic friendly, knowledgeable, extremely reasonable.They explained everything to me I come from Crestline and he will always be my mechanic.
Not a very good experience. They guarantee their repairs for 90 days or 3,000 miles and mine was neither of that.
My particular car there are three different alternators that can be put on and they did not take the time to find the correct one to put on so I am very disappointed so disappointed I reported them to the better Business bureau

I am also the owner of the said vehicle so yes I am the customer as well.
Since all this has happened I replaced the alternator that was put in by Amcal with the right amount of amps and I am back on the road again no problems.
So no I didn't have to get it diagnosed I knew what the problem was and I actually did have it diagnosed at one point however that wasn't good enough for the shop.
So I am still going ahead with my claim to the Better Business bureau and let them handle it from here.
Had to get my 5.7 liter Dodge Magnum HEMI engine rebuilt and these guys gave me the cheapest price that I could find. Not only that, they did great work on my engine. They didn't just allow me to blindly sign my warranty on the motor, but they explained to me in detail what I was signing and how it works. Customer service was excellent, they took me in the back and showered me the whole process. I felt very confident in having my car worked on by them. I recommend them to anyone.
My old truck needed timming chains. I opted to have the whole motor gone through and the turn around was quick. Price was fair and I am left feeling like they are the best value(as in most bang for buck. Not cheapest certainly not the most expensive but I got alot for the money) to be clear I don't normally write reviews but Amcal deserves a shout out.
My husband always has had car PROBLEMS living in i.e. since 1989 ALWAYS finds all the worse repair shops. Charge too much, repairs never work, wrong diagnostic readings, no warranty even when they gave him a WARRANTY. Well he FINALLY found AMCAL and all those issues are GONE!! The workers and owner Louis and manager Edgar are really NICE and RESPECTFUL. WOULD recommend this shop 5* service. My husband has NEVER been so PLEASED!!!!
I have patronized far too many repair shops in the Inland Empire without satisfaction. Finally i discovered a hidden JEWEL because of where the shop is located AND THE HONEST SERVICE THEY GIVE. Every diagnostic test or knowledge repair suggestion has been correct on the first one. NO " that didn't WORK and NOW you need THIS". I have referred 3 generations of my family here. Very respectful, honest and pleasant staff with GOOD FAIR PRICES. They go the extra MILE.!!!
I feel very comfortable bringing my car to this place because I know they won't spike up the prices just because I'm a female. Edgar - the manager, is very professional and he provides awesome customer service. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
I had several motors rebuilt for stock and my little hot rod , I installed them my self never had problems just follow brake in procedures, They do great work on auto repairs also. Thx Amcal
