DO NOT FALL FOR THEM, they charge 8 dollars per mile. The driver came up to us and said he can take us if we need a ride. We asked for an estimate for 44 miles and he said around 175$ (around 4$ a mile). Then the maps said 66 miles which is fine, it should still be less than 300$. 30 miles into the trip, I was bored and looked up their company online and saw the reviews which alarmed me so I asked him how much is per mile because he kept dodging the question at first. He said 8 dollars a mile so we had him stop at the nearest gas station. Remember how he said the 44 mile trip should be around 175? We were only at 30 mins and it was 230$. Thank god I saw the reviews before continuing. They were about to charge us more than 500$. Avoid this scam and go with a trusted company instead.

Update: continue to be the absolute worst. 50 minutes after calling for the return car I am still waiting here with my impatient and ill dad. I used to worry retaliation if I left bad reviews but they couldn’t possibly get any worse

If you need a car at 11, you’ll be lucky if it shows up at 11:45. Of course the car is paid for by Medicaid since it’s for an elderly patient who is infirm. And as I’ve often experienced since my dad got Alzheimer’s, companies that are paid by Medicaid and will make their money no matter what - don’t care. They make their money regardless of how bad the service, and the clients are elderly. So why bother even trying to be on time, right? The drivers always seem super angry and I’m not sure why they work for this company if they’re angry about it, maybe they don’t have another option. Remember .. this is where our tax dollars are going. And this is how our country’s elders are being treated. It’s a shame

Complete scam of a driver. We used them for a ride from JFK to Manhattan and they said it would $140 or less at $1.19 a mile. Traffic wasn't terrible so it should have actually been less. He wouldn't allow us to watch the meter, then when we arrived to our hotel he grabbed the meter and typed it $215 and said that's what we owe and got mad at me when I told him he is scamming us. I then did not give him a tip and he got angry at me and I jumped out of the car quickly feeling unsafe. Never use this company.

I been taking this cab service for a long time, where I go the price is Reasonable,

But today one was Charging $30 to a place that II only pay between 22 to $25 he was stating the traffic and the time to get to a place. When other never charge me this amount. They are guys that just because if the uniform they charge you.

His opinion is different than my.

All these years I never had a problem.

I never take this cab guy before.

They rise the price like nothing.

I had booked for a 5:45am pickup to take my dad to the hospital for an emergent appointment. I had call the day before to confirm appointment and one of the workers said it was confirmed. Day of, nobody showed up. Called them and the person working said there’s no booking and basically told me too bad. Don’t work with insurance companies if you’re unwilling to help the elderly. This company does not care about customer or patients, they just want to bill elderly people. Cold hearted company

Alltown is the most wonderful cab service in the world. Been using them for year's. The cab drivers were very nice all the way through the ride. The customer service were absolutely amazingly great. Kind, & helpful all the way through.

PLEASE DON'T FALL FOR THIS BUSINESS if there was a minus five star option it would suit such a company, It's a complete scam one diver took me from the airport waiting to see if someone would fall for them when you ask how much they charge for their service a driver who works for them said that they charge based on the meter almost to make it sound legit they ended up charging me more than four times a uber ( mind you they only take cash or zelle and the driver when I didn't have enough money he said that he would drive me to a ATM like a criminal....)a complete rip off not that the car was something special it wasn't the car stunk like smoke some "limo" service and the driver was lacking manners PLEASE JUST TAKE A UBER OR FIND A YELLOW CAB AND DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS may the true judge of this world pay them accordingly

I’ve never in the 6 years living in New York and using this cab service experienced what I experienced the other day. The fact that you guys hire people who profile Im not sure if it was my age or my ethnicity but for a cab driver to tell me I have to pay as soon as I got in a cab and when I questioned why and told him I would pay when we got to my destination he said well you need to pay now because sometimes you people don’t like to pay or you can get our my car. What kind of professionalism is that. First it was me and my co worker why would I feel the need leaving work to try and get a free ride. Also tried to charge me a 15 ride that I take almost everyday leaving and coming to work that cost me 10.00$. Not one time has one of their drivers told me anything more than that. I will never use this cab base ever again. You need to hire more professional and non bias drivers who are quick to jump to conclusions.
