Alice’s has great “home cooked” meals!! It is absolutely delicious. The staff here are sweet. So are the customers- very nice spot.
Great little local spot. Best coffee! Regular old fashioned coffee, no frufru stuff! Update! Our own little small town spot. I've been coming for breakfast for years but had lunch today! Monday special, Red beans of course! Hamburger steak was perfect!
I love me some local diners. Great decor, amazing food. Perfect service and great staff. I love these when I can find them. They are rare now. Find them and go when you can. Keep them open.
A little late this morning (10:30), biking the Tammany Trace. Found Alice's (old-fashioned) via Google (modern). Great Chicken-Fried Steak Breakfast (all-season)!! Rose (waitress) kept our cups full and hot.
Nothing was absolutely the best, but all of it combined was absolutely the best!
This is a hidden gem. We just happened to pass by around breakfast time after spending a night at a nearby state park. GREAT service, environment, and food!
Quaint small restaurant that is supported by locals. Gravel parking lot. Friendly employees and wait staff. Blueberry pancakes were huge.
Lovely mom & pop place to eat with the family. The staff is very friendly and the pancakes are the fluffiest you will find within 50 miles.
We were staying in New Orleans, and rented bikes to see more of the beautiful state of Louisiana. We happened to pass Alice’s and stopped in for lunch. Sure glad we did! One of the best hot lunches and po boys we had! Our Server was so friendly and kind, and gave answered all our questions about the area. We WILL return when we come back to Louisiana
