I really wanted it to be the Roberto’s for Northern California. I’ve been to another one and the food quality was better. We were a little disappointed on the tastes and portions. Carne asada was dry. Crispy beef tacos weee small and not very flavorful. Will try again and see if it is better
Alberto's Mexican food restaurant Is a good spot to come to eat. I order the beef burrito with a extra side of hot sauce. The prices here are decent and the taste Is good enough. Sometimes the meat can be a little bit dry or too much seasoning on the food. Also the service Is just ok. I do like the beans and rice though. The parking can get a little but full In this location. Good food to fill the belly!
I regret to report that this is the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. I can’t speak to the quality of the whole menu, of course, but the flautas, rolled tacos, and refried beans were all inedible in both flavor and texture.

Moved here from San Diego and been craving some good Mexican food! This spot got the Best House Salsa ever! Must try! I came here before but this time I got the breakfast burrito and it was crazy good! I added their homemade salsa and it was unbelievable.
I’m already planning my next visit to this spot and I live in Vallejo lol
Being from SD this place has a spot in my heart. Rolled tacos & guacamole.. carne asada burritos with NO RICE and BEAN!! ❤????❤ has a good salsa bar as well.. And lots of breakfast burrito choices..

Got a quality breakfast burrito for a great price, the place was clean and tidy, they also had a variety of salsas to choose from which was cool. Will definitely go back soon.
Carne asada fries? In the bay? Holy cow I am pleased! I'm from San Diego and it's ridiculous no one knows how to make these properly up here. This place hit the old nostalgia spot. Sauce was spicy too. Only criticism is the fries could be a little bit more crispy but it was a good portion and tasty toppings! Also the cheese was melted which THANK YOU means it was HOT when I got it. Husband had a California burrito and he was pleased with it too. Great little local place!
BEST BREAKFAST BURRITO IN BERKELEY. Me and my boy Jdawg frequent this establishment regularly. We have tried almost every single breaky burrite spot in Berkeley looking for that one burrito to fill the void. Nothing else compares. This is burrito nirvana. Our classic order is the sausage breakfast burrito with the salsa verde and the white salsa, both of which are incredible which we crush everyday after the gym or before 18 holes of disc golf. Come early for the discount stay for the vibes.
