Chicken Parma is delicious! Sausage pizza was great. Friendly service.
Ordered my two favorite pizzas. Went Inside and was greeting by the nicest staff. While waiting for the best tasting pizza we were given a tour of the facility. Very impressed by the atmosphere. I love how I was told the history of the restaurant dating back over 50 years. Best pizza amazing quality. Will be back most definitely! I can’t imagine patronizing a different place. Keep up the great work!
Interesting setup. You walk into a band area, pass up the carry out counter to find the hostess to seat you. She was very friendly. They were having a big party in the main restaurant, she asked if we’d like to sit in the band area (has a stage) so we did. A lot of choices on the menu. We got the taco sub & pizza. Sub needed something (less bread or more meat) it was ok. The Alfano pizza was fantastic. Will go back again & try something else ☺️. I believe the owner stopped at our table to show appreciation for us staying even though we had to sit in that area. It was fine. It looks like it’ll be a great place once they are finished with the whole place.
My friends invited me here. We shared a dish that I had never experienced before. It was crust filled with cheese with olive juice to dip the slices. We also had an appetizer of chicken wings. Everything was delicious.
I am pretty happy with the pizzas. Ever since they moved they got better. Their dine-in now is amazing especially with their venues. For those wanting a good pizza at a cheap price go to Domino's. Not much cheaper. But for great atmosphere and and great pizza this is the place to go. Thanks.
I was feeling nostalgic last night after the loss of my classmate Tom. I needed to see a fellow classmate. I knew right where to go. Lena Alfano from our class is the proprietor of Alfano’s Pizza. I was comforted by her friendship and by pizza so good it will bring tears to your eyes. She was busy assembling 4,000 pizzas for local school fundraisers. She is an amazing person, businesswoman and classmate. Her husband is the Auditor General for the State of Illinois. If you have never been, do yourself a favor and check out Alfano’s Pizza on Rt. 6.
Go to Bianchis by the courthouse in Ottawa. The pizza and service is way better.
At Alfano's-There were only 2 or 3 other tables there. We waited 45 minutes for 2 pizzas that weren't very good. The servers were all crabby and had attitude. I've been a server and was horrified by what I was seeing. We will never eat here again!
Great Italian resturaunt! Very friendly staff and they are great at explaining to you what is good if you are from out of town. There is flavor in every bite! Best pizza I have had in a long time. Would recommend this to anyone traveling through. I drove 40 miles out of my way to eat here!
