The crew at Alexis are great. I needed a transfer case for my truck and one of the guys took me all.around the yard till we found what I needed. It is a pull your own part place but they also have parts they pulled.
I purchased a transmission from here. I specifically told them the model and that it did not have a bolt on bellhousing. I was told they knew exactly what I was talking about. I had the transmission picked up and shipped from Rock Springs to Gillette. It turned out to be the one with a bolt on bellhousing. I have called repeatedly to resolve the problem being told they will call back. It's been 1 week and still waiting. I've called several times with the same answere that they will call back. I have requested my money back and same answere. So beware to all
I fly to NV to meet a friend and help him drive back across the country to NY. The axle on his truck siezed up as we were pulling off the highway. Only one was available that fit swap, and we made the swap. The folks at Alexis Autos were super helpful, and we are extremely grateful for their kindness. With their help, we made it back to NY and only 24 hours behind schedule. 5 stars all day, thank you Ricky.
Jose is the best. I called looking for a door to a van I'm working on and while they didn't have it, he spent plenty of time looking at all the other salvage yards in reasonable distance to locate one for me. Great business ????
We brought a truck to Alexis Auto Body for a timing chain repair on a 2012 Ford in mid November. It took him 4 weeks and dozens of broken promises to finish the work. When it was delivered back I was handed an $1,800 repair bill which was $800 over what the bill should have been. Same day the truck was brought back we noticed that the headlights no longer worked. I asked him about it and I was told that he never touched the wires to the headlights. So.... Okay I'll fix the headlights. While fixing them I noticed that the wire harness had been smashed. Coincidentally right in the area where the timing chain work was done. The next day our customer takes the truck home and the check engine light comes back on. The customer sends me the codes that came up so I could get it fixed again. So I sent the pic of the codes to Alexis Auto Body and he told me that the codes had absolutely nothing to do with the work he did on the timing chains and it must be a bad sensor. So we have the customer drive the truck back in from the valley so we could get him taken care of and the motor blows up...... We had the truck taken into the Ford store to have it analyzed. The photos below are of the gobs and gobs of silicone that Alexis used instead of $4.00 worth of correct gaskets. So I sent the photos to Alexis and was told that the silicone was from a previous repair???? He says that "he will help but if I'm asking him to replace the motor there is no way". He said that I can send him all the pictures I want but he will not be paying for a new motor. So now I have a shop that won't stand behind their overpriced repair and an $11,000 motor replacement. So my feedback is absolutely don't do business with this guy.
I had Victor put a 90,000 mile motor in my truck. The quote was for 3800 dollars and it was to be done in four days. 10 days later he called and said my truck was done. I went to pick up the truck and he wanted 4500 dollars. He had done work to the truck without asking me and that a 90,000 mile motor should not have needed. I spoke with the girl at the desk 2 days before this about the length of time it took and she as used me I would not be charged more than the quote. To make things worse he had called the police and had an abandoned title form filled out and was threatening my wife that he would take her truck if we did not pay what he wanted. Not me, my wife. Extorting extra money for work not agreed upon. Mind you she was in contact every other day. I had no choice but to pay his cost because he charges 25 dollars a day storage fees on top of this. I got my truck and pulled the vin off of the motor and found out he bought a 161,000 mile motor and charged us to rebuild it. He went to auction and bought a whole truck with my money. We had spoke about a couple other parts I needed. I even called him when we dropped the truck off and asked if he bought the whole truck. He said " no he did not buy the truck. That someone else owned it but I could buy the parts I needed off of it" I had a 30 day warranty on the motor through his shop. Within 10 days the check engine light was on and it was spiewing power steerinfg fluid. I called him and he refused to even look at it. Leaving a local family of 7 without a family vehicle. Victor is a liar and a thief. Do not use this shop.
Awesome. A gentleman named Victor was very helpeful. On top of that, a good buisness man. I won't pass it bye. Good people, good parts.
Had a front tire blow out while driving my truck through Wyoming on a Sunday. Alexis helped me out with a used spare tire which got me home safely. It cost a little more than I expected but it got me back on the road fairly quickly and there really weren't many other options available. Thanks!
