Sold me two bad tires after getting 4 minutes down the street I checked and there was a nail in the tire I turned back and they removed it two weeks later the second tire I purchased from them blew out the the highway. This is unacceptable and just robbing people for their money.
Took 4 new tires to be placed on rims.
Old tires weren’t bad at all just want new ones.
They charged me 150.00 with balance
I even let them have old tires they could resale.
But I had a feeling they hadn’t balanced them and didn’t see any weights on rim.
I asked “you did balance right?”of course she replied.
As I was leaving I overheard her say in Spanish you see I told you he wouldn’t notice.
Took my truck to discount tire and sure enough, tires were not balanced. Took back truck a couple of days later and they said I’d have to pay again if I wanted them balanced. They got me but karma will get these thieves
Excellent experience. I purchased a used tire late on a Friday afternoon, may 17th, I had called at least 30 other shops that day. They installed it quickly at a reasonable price. I live in the hill country, drove 45 miles home, and everything seemed fine. Woke up the next morning, and the tire was completely flat. I checked the tire, and it had a hole in the side wall. Called Alex Tire, and they said they would look for another one. And replace it. They had a hard time finding a replacement for it, so I had to drive on it for a few days while they located one. On Tuesday, May 21st, at 10:30 pm, I had a blowout 60 miles away from home, I was stuck with no spare, no jack, and no way to get anywhere. TX dot gave me a tow off the shoulder of the highway. I had to wait with my truck, I was able to get ahold of Alex as soon as they opened, and I didn't know what they would be able to do, if anything, but I was completely surprised by what they were able to do for me. Somehow, they located a tire the correct size and ply. Alex personally came to where I was at brought a tech, a jack, and the tire. Removed the rim from my vehicle, took it to a shop down the road, mounted and balanced it, brought it back, and installed it. From the time I called to the time we were back on the road, it was less than 2 hours, and there were no extra fees. I am so thankful for the timely manner and professionalism they showed. Thank you very much for going above and beyond.
This place is really great!!! It was quick and easy to get an oil change you take them the oil and the filter and they charge $15.00 they can check your tires too and thank God they checked them I had a nail in one and didn't even know. The service was great and the guys are respectful. As far as the owner he's there walking up and checking on his men and he was very nice. Id recommend the place a 10 out of a 10!!!! I will be here soon!!!
In November I had trouble with my tire pressure sensor. I took it to Alex’s & they checked it and changed the one sensor that was bad for $100. Everything was fine until Mar 1st I got a nail in my tire and took it to them to patch. I told them immediately that my sensor was not working. They said just to drive it and it should reset. Well the next day I took it back cause it still didn’t work. It was working fine before I took it to them to patch my tire. So they said bring it back on Monday cause the person that knows how to run the machine was of on weekends. I didn’t have time to get it back over there again till Friday. In the interim it worked occasionally. So on Friday when I took it back they said they come in Monday cause the boss wasn’t there. I bought it back Monday and they said too bad. No body understand a what I am saying. They started threatening to call the police. I told them call the police cause they destroyed my property. Had to leave without getting my stuff fezes.
Great shop! Hardworking people who get the job done. I’ve gotten my rotors, brake pads, and oil changed for a great price. This is my second time here and I will be coming back in the future.
Went there and the guy asked if I spoke Spanish, I said very little, he then proceeded to call me homophobic slurs in Spanish. When I confronted him he acted like he said something else.
According to other reviews for this place this is how they normally treat people.
They took advantage of me. RIPPED ME OFF! Me and a friend were having a girl's day and I had a bare tire and choose to go here because it was close. Being I was a little buzzed the gave me a tire w fix a flat inside of it. My African American friend tried to ask them about it and they just ignored her. It's not the same tire that they showed me that I paid 55 dollars for. Its cracked along the outside and continuing to go flat.
They refused to replace it but actually just laughed in my face. Truthfully I feel this is a place that discriminates against anybody other than Hispanic.
