I had a pleasant experience here. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu. The manager made an appearance at our table to welcome us and I thought that was very nice of him. The food is delicious. The atmosphere is lovely. I really liked how they served us small tastings throughout our dining experience. I plan to return.
Ambiance was great, decor was incredible. However, what makes a place outstanding is the service, which wasn't up to par. Our server was less than attentive, which would be more understandable if they were packed, which was not the case at all. He was snotty and rude, as if we were bothering him by asking for an explanation of the menu. We went on New Years Eve and found out they were only serving the prix fix menu....Super disappointing. The food was good, but not outstanding. The most helpful person there was the Sommelier, who was incredibly knowledgeable and detailed in his description of pairing various wines with the dishes. I would possibly go back, but not on a holiday.
Definitely a change of pace with the well thought out multi-course meals. I tried the four course and was very pleased with the quality, presentation and taste of the items. Their Sommelier on staff that night was very knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations based on the dishes. Well worth the effort to get the wine pairing for my meal.
Outstanding in every way. The cocktails are inventive and perfectly balanced, the service experienced and attentive, the food is delicious and beautifully plated, the wine list is informed, and the sommelier really knows his wines. Definitely not to be missed.
We were a little put off because it took us almost twenty minutes to be greeted once we were sat, but once our server came, he was EXCELLENT - very charming, great input on food and wine. He also did a great job pacing our meal and checking on timing. The food was tremendous, and we really enjoyed our experience.
Such brilliant service and an incredible quality of food at any price (and, as it happens, quite reasonable). The food, especially the octopus, was on a whole other level. Trust the staff - I asked them to recommend a wine that would go well with what I ordered; and they did so perfectly.
Beautiful dishes made to perfection! Take your significant other here rather than Ruth's Chris. You will not be disappointed (unless you're a picky eater). I can't wait to go back and place this restaurant at the top of my Best of Baltimore list. The ambience of the restaurant is quiet with soft music playing that's low enough to hear your party but loud enough to drown out the table next to you.
Outstanding dining experience. The food was among the best I've had in Baltimore. I can't recommend this place highly enough. The Brussels sprouts are to die for and the hanger steak was out of this world.
