Best WLM Reviews
I got the Birria tacos, and wife got the waakye and an order of peppered flavor wings to share. $45.
Her meal comes with rice and black eye peas, fried fish, spaghetti, hard boiled egg, Cole slaw and stew beef. She said the fish was good (although very small) and the rice was decent. Everything else was dry and unimpressive. The wings were decent. The Birria tacos were not traditional style like I had seen pictured on their site but they were still very good. Loaded with tasty and tender meat, cilantro, onion (and for some reason tomato) the consomme was good also. Strange that the best food from an African fusion restaurant was the Mexican food but it is what it is lol. I would order tacos again.
Wings- 6.5
Waakye meal- 5.25
Birria Tacos- 7.5
GREAT birria tacos!!! Great deal $12 for three thick tacos!!! Only thing, missing some fun music in the restaurant:) I’ll still be a returning customer though!
My husband surprised me with this delicious place for our anniversary. The food was to die for! And the service was amazing. The food was cooked quickly and dishes just kept coming and coming. The only downside was not having all the options available to us on the menu when we were there. So we had limited options, but again, it tasted great. So maybe call ahead of time to see what's available? I'm not sure. Enjoyyy!
Best food in boston, the tacos and waakye! Ahhh mouth watering how i wish to have this in boston too! The tacos is just too too good. If you are thinking of coming here don't give a second thought just come and enjoy the food.
Got the beef with plantains and my wife got the jollof rice with chicken and we had a blast! Great music we were there for about 2 hours having a good time. The food was absolutely incredible even when your full you can’t help but get one more bite and another and another ????????
The birria tacos were FANTASTIC. I’m still drooling ????. Staff was super friendly and welcoming. Definitely new favorite spot.
My daughter and I decided to do take out the other day. We stopped at this restaurant after checking for ones near us at the time. Orders are cooked on demand so order ahead or you will be waiting a bit. We ordered Jollof rice with vegetables, vegetarian quesadilla, chicken and fried plantains. It did not disappoint! We love African food and this restaurant has quite an extensive menu. If you enjoy African food this restaurant is a must.
The new management needs better cooks. I ordered fried turkey. The meat was tasteless but salty. The have ruined a great company. How can you keep the name and not keep standards? Terrible experience. I won't spend my money at a place where half the menu isn't available. They should change the name if they won't keep the standards that made Afro-Fusion a staple in our neighborhood.
