I don't know where to begin!!! This taxi service is complete trashhhhhhh!!! The lady dispatcher in the mornings ( the one with the caribbean accent) is completely RUDE. She acts like when you call for a cab you are disturbing or bothering her. The cabs they send are disgusting, smells horrible and the drivers are on there phones talking on loud speaker early in the morning sooo loud that I can't even enjoy my ride to work. When ever I do call for a cab they will tell me 10 minutes or less and the cab don't show up until 30 minutes later. After today I will be taking lyft or uber, and I hope everyone do the same!!!
Dispatcher has a nasty disposition. Acts as though your interupting her day by calling. Was rude and left me and my 19 month toddler in the cold at 10pm. Had to use a Lyft to get home safely from the grocery store. If you value time and safety I would advise not to use this company. Also Happy New Year ????
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
In my attempts to support this black-owned business, I encountered a pattern of unprofessional behavior from their drivers that has left me thoroughly dissatisfied. The instances of rudeness were not isolated; instead, they persisted over multiple rides, making it evident that there are systemic issues within the company. The lack of reliability became particularly problematic, as I found myself stranded due to the drivers' unprofessional conduct.
Communication breakdowns and a dismissive attitude further exacerbated the overall negative experience. It's disheartening to see a business with potential fall short, especially when there's a genuine desire to support enterprises within the black community. Unfortunately, based on my encounters, I cannot recommend this car service company to others. It's essential for them to address the underlying issues to provide a more reliable and customer-friendly service.
Right out disrespectful from the main dispatcher Tamara to Mildred cursing at customers elderly and sick. These Medicaid patients pay your salary Afro Car Service

So I took a ride with this company this week for the first time and while in my ride, the dispatcher, Tamara called the driver to ask him if he picked me up to which at that moment I asked if I could speak to her to inquire as to why the ride took 45 minutes to arrive. At that point to Mary became extremely rude and disrespectful and upon being told that she was being rude and disrespectful, she decided to start cussing me out, Then, when calling back to speak to a supervisor tomorrow, pick up the phone states that she is the supervisor and hangs up then, when calling back to speak to a supervisor, I get another dispatcher who informs me that Tamara is nothing but a dispatcher and that I should be calling back in the morning in order to issue a complaint with the supervisor upon calling back in the morning, Tamara picks up the phone again, and this time states that she feels harassed and is calling the police due to A customer calling to issue a complaint on her. This business is very unprofessional. Anyone who caused this dispatch line will be greeted with the same level of professionalism that I was greeted with and I encourage everyone to call to see exactly what I’m talking about. If a supervisor reads this, please feel free to reach out to me immediately I am very open to a line of communication to explain exactly what happened I even have video evidence of our conversation If you’re interested in learning how your employees treat your So-called valued customers
Driver was courteous and kept his music at a moderate level
