Quick Facts About African Nubian Queens Hair

African Nubian Queens Hair place has both strengths and weaknesses, as mentioned in the comments above. It is important to analyze these comments to understand the overall quality of their service and customer satisfaction.
Starting with the strengths, one comment mentions that the hairdressers at the salon finished the Senegalese twists and medium-sized box braids in a relatively short amount of time. They also washed and blow-dried the customer's hair, indicating that they offer additional services beyond braiding. This shows that the salon is efficient and can complete styles quickly.
Another positive comment mentions that the customer's hair has been growing well and that they have been going to African Nubian Queens Hair place for years. This indicates that the salon may have good haircare practices and products. The fact that the customer's daughter and granddaughter also go there demonstrates a level of satisfaction and trust.
Additionally, one customer claims to travel from New York to have the salon's stylists do their hair, citing their professionalism and personable nature. This indicates that the salon has built a strong reputation and customer base, and that people are willing to travel long distances to receive their services.
However, there are also some significant weaknesses mentioned in the comments. Multiple customers express dissatisfaction with the quality of work and lack of professionalism. One customer specifically mentions that they were not satisfied with the 6 feed-in cornrows they received, citing uneven parts and a terrible overall result. Another customer mentions that the braids they received for $200 started unraveling after one day due to a poor job done by a particular stylist. This indicates a lack of consistency and attention to detail within the salon.
Furthermore, a comment highlights a lack of communication among staff members, leading to inconsistent braid sizes and uncertainty about the quality of work a customer will receive. This lack of communication and inconsistency can affect the salon's overall reputation and customer satisfaction.
Another customer mentions that their appointments were often delayed, with their hair not being started until over an hour later. This indicates a lack of punctuality and organization within the salon. Additionally, the parking situation at the current location is mentioned as a downfall, which can be a deterrent for potential customers.
Overall, African Nubian Queens Hair place has strengths in terms of efficiency, additional services, and the ability to promote hair growth. However, there are significant weaknesses related to the quality of work, professionalism, consistency, communication, punctuality, and location. These weaknesses may hinder customer satisfaction and prevent repeat business.

I got my hair braided on Friday morning because I had to work the next 3 days and I was not satisfied at ALL with the 6 feedin cornrows that I received from her for a hundred dollars!!! The parts was not straight at all it was terrible!!! Will not attend this braid shop anymore!!! Today on my day off I took them OUT!
Two different ladies was working on my daughters hair at the same time which is not uncommon but the person doing the back was not good at all. You could see the natural hair coming out of the braids and when we went back for them to correct it, they had the same lady do it. She cut the braid at the point where the natural hair stopped and rebraided it which cause the braids to unravel. We spent $200 for box braids and had to take them out in a day. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.
The quality of work and professionalism has gone way down. No Communication amongst the staff. One braider will tell you one thing and then another will say No. Braid sizes aren't consistent and neither are the workers. There's always random, new people braiding so you never know the quality of work you'll receive. Save your money and book with a professionals because if something is clearly wrong with your braids when they're done, they will never own up to their mistakes. Customer satisfaction is not their strong point.
I have had my hair done by them twice. They did my Senegalese twist and was finished in less than 6 hours. I also had medium size box braids that was finished in 3 1/2 hours. They also washed and blow-dried my hair . I have gone back for a touch up and more. I love it
I have been going here for years. My hair is always beautiful. My hair is growing like weeds. Very professional service, fast, & friendly. My daughter and grand daughter only go to this shop. Highly recommended!
This used to be me go-to braiding spot years ago when they were located on Main Street, but I stopped going bc the last times I went there for an appointment my hair wasn’t started until over an hour later. The braids last though. Just be prepared to potentially be there all day.
The current location off club has minimal parking, gentrification is such a shame.
I actually drive down from NY to have these ladies do my kinki twists! That statement alone says a lot! They are always professional and personable, and I highly recommend them. I have been going to this shop for at least 5 years or more and I am always satisfied.
When I called to schedule my appointment at the salon the young lady was very friendly. I arrived to my appointment on time the shop was clean and they was ready to go. The lady ask to see a picture of how I wanted my hair. I wanted knotless braids small in ombré colors. The lady doing my braid was very nice and moved very fast I was only there for about 3 hours. But when i got out the chair my braids wasn’t knotless and the colors wasn’t how I wanted it. From a quick over few at my hair in the mirror i was kind of ok with what I saw. After getting home and going through my braids the lady did a terrible job on my hair some braids are bigger then others and the feeding job is not done correctly. I won’t be returning back to this salon at all.
