I definitely woke up this morning and decided I wanted to come get my hair braided. I called an hour ahead of time to verify prices with or without hair. They have hair for different braiding styles. They also accept walk in-services. This works out extremely well with my heavy work schedule. Services are always perfect. I drive from Cornelia, GA, for their services. It takes me about 45 minutes traffic free. It's been 5 years! Today, I requested micro braids. I was out in 4 hours. No wait time. Thank you all for treating my family with respect and gratitude Until next time, ladies!
The ONLY braiding shop I go to. They are quick with great customer service. Pricing is good and they are on time. My braids are always flawless with clean parts. They last me at-least 3 months with washing it in between.
Friendly, reliable and quick service. I have been getting my hair done here for the last 3 years. I promise they will not disappoint you. Oh, did I mention I have locs and the way they braid my hair you can’t tell I have locs underneath.
Millicent did my hair and I love it. My head doesn't hurt (but I'm not tender headed), my braids aren't stiff, and they have a silky texture. It only took 3 hrs and they provided the hair. (They only take cash)
Worst place ever!! The employees are rude, price is unreasonable, no credit card machine, make you pay before your done, and don’t care about their customers. I had a girl come do my hair at my house and she left me with half my hair done and $150 lighter. I called these ladies two days later after it was clear I needed find someone else to do my hair. Walked in with my own hair and half my hair already faux locked and asked for a price they said $200. FOR DOING HALF MY HEAD. I reluctantly said fine since I’ve already missed so many work days and there was only about 2-3 more hours of work. I should’ve walked out right then and there. They started me Saturday, never finished and rushed me to pay before they closed OR FINISHED. Nobody informed me they didn’t have a credit card machine so I had to call my grandpa to bring me extra cash. Then they tell me I have to come back Monday because the two girls they had working on me wouldn’t be there Sunday. Then they start snickering at me and having a attitude back talking me for asking reasonable questions about how they were doing my hair. So I called out of ANOTHER SHIFT, PAID $220 FOR HALF MY HEAD TO BE DONE, AND HAD TO WAIT THREE EXTRA DAYS FOR MY WHOLE HEAD TO BE DONE. The faux locks are stiff, heavy, and they way down way too much + the girl that did them took a lighter up and down each strand to seal them and it’s made it so the hair is falling out everywhere. Don’t even get me started on the ends of my hair (see photos). After all was said and done the girls were asking me about their tip and if my hair was heavy while smirking at one another. It’s currently Tuesday now and I went to give myself a massage to try and help me sleep since the hair is so heavy and I’ve discovered my scalp is scabbing up do to the bulkness. Overall a terrible place, waste of money and I can tell I’m gonna have to take these out immediately.
I think their braids look good and they do a awesome job. My hair was so beautiful that I over looked how they were braiding until I returned home. I highly disliked that my braids were braided to my scalp when they were supposed to be the triangle parted Bohemian Goddess Braids. I was unable to put my hair up in a ponytail because some my braids were braided to as if they were doing Cornrows. They are very sweet hard working women, my only problem is the price should have matched what I wanted instead of how they decided to start my braids off. Other than that I enjoyed the style.
I have very thick hair so I understand if they were tired but I like my money well spent. I deserve to get the services I pay for as well, this was not my first rodeo at this salon. I will keep them around for emergency appointments only because Sarah is definitely going to get you in for an appointment. That's what I liked the most!
Had a good experience with them. Was very friendly to me and did my hair exactly how I asked.
I've been going here off and on for 5 years and have never had a problem. Yes, they are a bit slow, the store needs to be cleaned up, and the customer service isn't the best... but my stylists always do a great job and the prices are reasonable. I guess ratings depend on expectations. I don't expect great customer service. They say hello, ask what I want, and tell me how much. Im good with that! If I make an appointment, I know I will wait 30 min after that time... most braid shops are the same way. When it's my turn, I plug in my ear buds and tune out. I expect great work at a great price and these ladies deliver every time!
