I ordered online and picked it up the within 10 Min. The food taste good for the chicken shawarma and beef however the salad did not have salt and it looked old, it could be because it was trapped with the other hot food. The portion was an issue since I paid extra and it looked like what you get without paying extra $3. Overall, I do recommend it however try to eat there in the restaurant.
Decided today I was going to try something I hadn't eaten before. Did not disappoint! Though they were fully staffed, they were working on an enormous to-go order.. the gentleman in the front was kind enough to help me through the ordering process as I wasn't clear on all the offerings. It was clear each dish was made to order, but there was seating and we waited. Within 10 mins we were on our way with a Beef Shawarma Arabi, a Chicken Shawarma rice bowl, hummus, and baklava. Everything was tasty and fresh. We will be back to try other dishes. Thank you.
I recently noticed that the restaurant had fallen to an unusual level, and now I unfortunately had a bad experience. In addition, Abu Omar Restaurant has changed significantly from before in terms of taste quality and high prices. I would like to look into it. I also ordered 4 fried cauliflower for $6.50 and it was salty and oily, and the Italian shawarma has changed from before.
The best shawarmas in Tampa! Very tasty and delicious. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be back here.
Great Arabic food in a cozy little spot in Temple Terrace. Living in the Middle East for over 10 years had me missing this kind of food so I will definitely be back for more. Service was very fast.

Stay away I doubt if the food is even halal. Stinky shop with poor customer service, a rude old man sitting playing with a phone, and rude boy who barely speak English. Stay away!! there are close by highly rate restaurants such as Taste of Yemen, Pethera, Greenland, and highly rated Shawarma place by Boston Market, in the intersection. I would stay away from this place, shawarma is ten days old, stinky food, they use microwave. Don’t go by the positive reviews all those reviews are fake! If you decided to go ask for Halal Certification which they don’t!
As a business owner, I don't give many five stars but this place deserves it on all aspects. Friendly customer service, DELICIOUS food, good portions, and clean upbeat atmosphere. I'm glad I tried it and my kids love it also. We will be back! Joe
