I absolutely LOVE how my tattoo for my third baby has turned out. It still has a couple of weeks left to heal, but it turned out exactly how I envisioned it. Shea was my artist & did a great job of communicating with me about how I wanted it to look. I wanted a certain type of cedar tree, not photo realistic, with added tree roots & his name in a script font. I couldn’t have come up with that on my own, so I’m glad she was able to take the reigns on it. She has an ultra light touch, too. Although it went over my collarbone, not once did it hurt. Highly recommend her for your artist, ESPECIALLY if you love color tats, cuz that’s more her specialty. I appreciate her understanding that I am not a color tattoo person though, lol! You will not be disappointed going to ANY of the tattoo artists at Above the Clouds. They all bring something special & skillful to the tattooing table. Photos are taken one week apart.
I have also gone to Audrey there, to tattoo the design my daughter drew up for me a couple of years ago. She was able to squeeze me in on an impulse decision to finally get the tat, & I super appreciated that! Audrey also had an incredibly light touch, as the design was on my wrist, & it also did not hurt at all. She was even able to clean up the lines of my daughter’s work, so that it looked perfect. It has since healed wonderfully, & I’m so grateful to her for bringing my daughter’s vision to life. Photo of it about 4 days post tattooing.
I enjoy the atmosphere at the shop. The staff is so amazing. Great tattoo artists,everything is done in a timely manner. Great prices. I’m very relaxed when in there , so it makes the experience joyful. Definitely recommend it.
Talon did a beautiful job, with fine lines on our best friends tattoo. Additional plus, he had a great personality. Definitely recommend.
We meet Barrett at a local store. My girlfriend's son saw barrett's hair and said hello to her. He now calls her his tattoo fairy godmother. She has done all of our work. She is one of the kindest lady's we have known. She is obsessed with cleanliness and is very soft handed. She is a true artist so if you think you can bully her into something she doesn't want to do then think again. She also has no problem calling people on bull@$%. Most of the negative reviews I see on here are people who have fabricated their own drama. This a family shop nothing more.
had a great time with Shea and the rest of the crew, everyone is really nice and friendly. It felt very welcoming and I got an amazing tattoo done by Shea. She did a spot on job on the details, shading, and coloring on my tattoo and I definitely look forward to getting my next one done by her.
I had Shea tattoo my hand and she did a beautiful job!! This was my 3rd tattoo by her and I absolutely love how vivid her colors are and how she will go above and beyond to make sure you love your tattoo. The staff was very friendly and inviting. The shop is so unique and in such a beautiful location I would 10/10 recommend!!
Shea is the best. She takes her time to make sure you are getting the piece you want, even down to the placement. She is so talented and creative, I always love getting tattooed by her. She is professional and bubbly so it makes the whole tattoo process so comfortable!
Last week was my first trip to Above the Clouds and I was tattooed by Shea, first off this shop is badass. The decor and art pieces around the shops interior are amazing. 10/10 it's the vibe.
Secondly, Shea was a fantastic artist to work with again on a custom piece (I already have one of her flash designs tattooed as well), I am starting on a half sleeve and Shea took my wild idea and ran with it and made it into something I was massively impressed with. She took the time to make sure I liked my design and plan it out with me to make sure I was 1000% satisfied, during the tattoo she made sure I was comfortable and took breaks when things got overwhelming for me (I am a big baby). Overall we had good conversations and she was amazing and sooo friendly!
Overall this shop and my artist were amazing and I can't wait to come back and get my color started. Totally worth the trip up from the springs.
