Last day in Miami and I have had Cuban on my brain this entire trip, so I made sure I stopped by somewhere for some Cuban cuisine. There was some really cool decor here, including the rooster outside in the front. It was mothers day as well, so they had a ton of balloons throughout the restaurant.
My server was an older woman, there was a language barrier, and her accent was incredibly thick, but the menu was translated to english, so I had no problem ordering my food and drink.
I had the steak sandwich and a passion fruit drink they were both so good only thing I fumbled was I forgot to order some Cuban coffee they have the best coffee in my opinion but in making sure I got to the airport on time I kind of rushed out of there, the food was great I would definitely go again.
Authentic place. Very limited vegetarian options ( we sample them all). Fried Yukon were excellent, the plantain fried patties were too dry and not edible .
Mahi mahi very well done and presentation, so were all side dishes.
The owners can stop with complementary bread.
It is not a good quality and it was left untouched on all the other tables.

Always seen this spot driving by and wanted to stop and boom perfect evening time for it. Called ahead to see if it was busy then came and age had chicharon whole snapper fish with rice and split peas. And everything was amazing. Had a beer price was great. Such a cute mom and pop definitely the name goes with a touch of Cuba. Inside is so cute. Small but also spacious. And outside outdoor seating is cute with string lights so cute. The whole place I will be back.
The food was great; however, the customer service was a little slow. Overall, the experience was good.
I love this place! The coffee and Cuban sandwich were excellent. Wish I could figure out what that coffee was. I’ve been craving it since.
They do charge 3% for credit card purchases. This typically irks me, but they at least post this on their entrance door, as opposed to other restaurants that surprise you with it after you have paid. So I’m not gonna get annoyed here.
Honestly, I would give it a 3.5 if I could but I rounded up to a 4. The staff was nice and so was the atmosphere. My only negative mark was that I expected the steak sandwich to have more seasoning. At the same time, this was my first experience at a Cuban restaurant so the flavor of the sandwich might on par. My friend ordered the fish and he said it was really good. The Tostones came with a garlicky liquid that was really good. The sweet plantains were delicious. As was the Cuban tamale.
I nice place to have lunch. Food and service is above average in taste and seasoning and very busy during lunch hour needs more servers. Pricev and not a great value for your money.
Excellent food and service. Visit 3 times for breakfasts and lunch and we love this place. Food it’s fresh and delicious ✨✨
