We enjoyed our visit to A street soup kitchen and the food was delicious. The down side was the price. After tip our bill was about $45 with each sandwich being about $15 and $17. I feel $10-13 would be a more reasonable price range. Great harvest has similar items for a much lower price. That being said, I loved all the soups I tried and the French dip was wonderful. The Zippy potato had a deliciously unique flavor with a little spice. Would love to visit again but the price will keep me away. Plus kids menu items are $8 which is high.
Lick your bowl good! Warm up this Fall with a phenomenal bowl of soup! Plenty to choose from along with daily specials. Sizes are offered in a small cup or bowl. They also have bread bowls if you're really hungry...which you should be when you plan to eat here! You will want to try everything as the aroma of home cooked goodness grabs you as you walk in the door. If soup isn't your thing, they have plenty of sandwiches to try which I recommend you order hot. Take your favorite person and enjoy the chill atmosphere and amazing service. They get just as excited about their soups as you do tasting them. My tip...make sure to order one to go. You will want more paired with their amazing bread! Well done Soup Market. I can't get enough.
This little restaurant has a great array of sandwiches soups and desserts! Brad was an awesome waiter and he brought out samples of the soup for me because I had never been there. He was very knowledgeable about the food products and helped me choose the soup and sandwich I would like best. I got the ham sandwich with homemade mustard which was beyond words delicious and I paired it with the corn chowder. For dessert we got a giant soft fresh cookie and raspberry sorbet. Most of the sandwiches can be served hot or cold and there are a minimum of six soups everyday with different soups daily. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Delicious soup and bread! Very clean and extremely friendly staff! They put their love into their food here.
Love this place for soup (tomato basil is THE BEST) and a sandwich. But you should really go to a wine pairing dinner here!! Service was top-notch, and dinner was amazing. I've now been twice and will definitely continue attending these wonderful events.
This was our first time eating here. The food is delicious, the place is quaint and a great atmosphere. The staff was very nice and helpful. We had the 1/2 sandwich with a cup of soup. The sandwich was a perfect serving size as was the soup. The foccacia bread is wonderful. My husband loved their sourdough. We will definitely be coming back.
This place is so delicious and the staff was incredibly friendly. My sandwich and soup were both fantastic. They didn't have my initial choice of sandwich, so they offered me a replacement (of course) and even comped my meal because they felt bad about the situation. That was totally unnecessary but very-much appreciated. Taylor was a fantastic server, very friendly, familiar with the menu, kept our drinks full and provided service with a smile. They're lucky to have her. I'll certainly be back!
It has taken me a long time to visit this eatery and I wish it hadn't because the room was great. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.
I was very surprised at the size and the decor of the building, which was very airy and nice. The tables are nicely spaced so that you don't feel like you're on top of each other and can have a conversation without having to be overly quiet worrying about disturbing others.
The portions are very nice, a soup and half sandwich is a good option if your a first timer going there. The do different soups so each time you go there will probably be different than the last time you was there. The breads and soups are all made fresh there at the store.
The serve Pepsi Products, beer, wine and other spirits. The coffee was good and had flavored creamer as well.
So go check them out and not wait like I did.
