Best WLM Reviews
They serve old town Italian pizza made with Italy bought flour. The pizza based is freshly made and brick oven cooked. The ambience is not so great it’s like usual IHOP with plenty of seating available. They served us freshly baked soft bread with virgin olive oil and apple cider vinegar. We ordered bruschetta. It was really good after drizzling some olive oil but fresh mozzarella was missing on the top of it. Then we had for-cello pizza it was pretty good but the anchovies made it too salty. I feel they should have used non salted anchovies so may be it could have tasted better. I regretted a bit because of taste after ordering it and thought May be just Margarita pizza would have been better.
If you want to feel you are in Italy then visit this place. The pizza and pasta is out of this world. Amazing Napolitano Pizza's done right. They have half price nights. Don't miss out!!!
PHE-NOM-IN-AL gem we discovered in Arlington!! Authentic Sicilian cuisine. Best pizza around hands down. I don’t think I’ve had any other that could even compare, besides pizza I’ve had over in Europe. They make their own organic bread, pasta, pizza dough with importers Ingredients from Italy, and you can totally taste it! And their tiramisu ???????????? Wished I lived closer, I’d be here at least, once a week. Monday half price bottles of wine, Wednesday half price pizza, Thursday half price pasta. ???????????? I am only sad that they aren’t closer to me. And the staff. . . ????????????????????????
I will definitely be returning, ANY time I am in the area, even if it’s just to pick up a couple pizzas to go! I mean just look at the color of the olive oil. That’s what good olive oil is supposed to look like. So grateful to have been recommended this place, as I have a passion for amazing food ???????????? Oh, and ask for their Bressola app! It’s not on the menu! Was so good I forgot to take a pic.
A Modo Mio. . . Where have you been all my life ???????????? Grazie!!!
Usually a great experience eating here, however; this last visit was not so good. I understand al denti, but my spaghetti and meatballs were a disappointment. The spaghetti was extremely firm, but the meatballs were delicious. The seafood in the pasta dish was also delicious, but again, the spaghetti was so undercooked that it was not pleasant. Rosario was extremely apologetic and took it off of our bill. He also offered us pizza, and we did enjoy that. I will be back because I have never had an unpleasant experience before. The owners and the staff are incredibly friendly and always care about their customers.
Wow, yes, please come here for the pasta! The lasagna is rich, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The salmon penne is great for the summer, slightly salty but also delightful! We also loved how fresh the salad is and the Italian cheesecake was fantastic. Highly highly recommend a visit here if you love Italian food! We have not yet tried the pizza but I can honestly say it looks very good, as well — I really don’t think you can go wrong. Service was great and the space makes eating here very comfortable.
Perfect Napoli pizza. The personal size is big !
We loved the grilled branzino, kids meals and diavolo pizza
Food is genuinely superb, portions generous and reasonably priced. The service is top notch.
Waiter Marat is cheerful, knowledgeable, attentive and first class professional.
Wonderful dining experience.
Packed house so make a reservation or prepare to wait.
I’d rate this overall at about 3.75 stars, based on my first experience with their take out pizza. The pizza was absolutely phenom in flavor, but the pricing was absolutely exorbitant on the wallet. $60 bones for a small meat lovers pizza and one large pepperoni/onion pizza. No drinks, no sides. It was $4 extra to add onion to one pizza, (no mention of pricing over the phone btw), which is absurd… think about that for a second. 4 bones for a handful of onion slivers. Wow. If there’s a next time, I’m packing slivers in my wallet, I don’t even care. I’ll stink up my pocket and your register’s future monies if that’s the case. y’all can explain to the puzzled patrons receiving change- if it gets to that point.
On a more serious note, our meat lovers had about 1/4 of the pie scarcely covered with any meat or cheese, (see that pic). It was like they ran outta toppings 3/4 of the way through, or perhaps the chef got an important text to attend to which sidetracked him/her/them/etc. So one of the slices was the equivalent of a simple slice of cheese, yet the cheese itself was a’lackin. It was primarily dough, sauce, and the mild hope of meat and cheese remnants mixed with the delightful aftertaste from previous slices.
For the remainder of the pizza, it was pepperoni and sausage only- no ham or ground beef was scattered about. So instead of it being a “meat lovers”, it was more like a “meat teasers” (hardy har har). However, the quality of the sausage and pepperoni was the best I’ve ever had on a pizza. Mad props on that!! Don’t ever stop using these ingredients, please :)
But for $60, y’all shoulda had the meat piled high equally on each slice , and a whole bag full of onions accompanying the 2 pies.
Would love to have more of either delicious and indistinguishable pie; albeit mismatched, unbalanced, hamburgerless, barely onioned…. but not at that price. Cost of living is high, Arlington rent is high…we get it but, wowwww. Too much guys, sorry.
Let’s do a two for Tuesday deal?? ????♂️????♂️
