Was recommended A&J and scoped them out before taking my car there. Jim was knowledgeable, patient, and seemed like an honest and hardworking guy. I initially took my car in for a full inspection to see what all needed to be done. I received a quote and sat on it for a couple of months. Recently came back to get most of the work done and Jim was flexible and accommodating. His team was able to get me in and get everything completed on time even when he had a mechanic out sick. While servicing Jim’s team was able to find and recommend some additional service which would save me money in the long run. I’m always skeptical of dealerships and mechanics but after working with A&J, am fully confident in their ability and trust their advice! Thanks Jim!

I have a 2010 Nissan Altima and I've only taken it to the dealership (during the first 3 year warranty) or this shop (Eric prior and now Jim). This is my spot. Great prices and great service. And extremely honest. Let me give you an example. I brought my car in for a brake check (made some initial noise over the last few days). I took it to Jim to have a look and let me know if I needed new brakes. He honestly told me the brakes were fine and nothing was needed. Had I taken it anywhere else, I'm sure i would have been advised to change all four. Thx for being professional :)
Excellent service, excellent price, reliable and dependable work. If you are looking for a mechanic with good work ethic and experience, come to A&J Nissan Specialist. Brought my 1990 Geo Metro for timing belt replacement and repair. Jim and his team provided reliable service.

Oil change alarm was on and I was around the neighborhood so I randomly stopped by this plaza for oil change. There are many shops here. Somehow this neat Autoshop got my attention. Service is great and price is good. They explained to me the difference between two prices and let me make decision. Highly recommended!
I’m not the person to write reviews, however, I felt extremely cheated at this mechanic shop. I had a code come up for a catalytic converter which, was no surprise as I have a 2012 Nissan Sentra with 158,000 miles on it. When Jim called me to tell me the catalytic converter was the issue, I figured the cost of repair would be $800-$1,200 because my family has only owned, and driven Nissan vehicles and my car has one catalytic converter on it. Over the phone Jim gave me a quote of $1,000 and some change which I thought was a fair price, so I gave him the green light to order the new converter and install it for me.
When I went to pick up my vehicle the price was doubled at $1,980. I felt cheated because I did not write down the phone quote and I had no way to prove that Jim changed the price on me. I had to swallow this pill and pay because I needed my car to get to work that day. If I had the quote sent to me via email, I would have never agreed to put $2,000 worth of work on my vehicle, knowing that the transmissions on these vehicles are known to fail.
I’m not sure what happened to the original mechanic/owner Eric (who was extremely helpful and fair) but do not take you vehicle to Jim. If you do decide to go to this shop and Jim is helping you, make sure you write down the quote he gives you. I will never take my vehicle to get serviced here again, especially, if Jim is still running the books.
