Please do not lose your money with this shop. They did a horrible job. I had to come back two times to get the transmission fixed. Keep going do not stop and get your transmission fixed. I paid over $5000 to get this transmission fixed Star hesitating on me and jerking on me, I bought it back. He fixed it for free. It was something called to tar converter. Any fixed it now it’s jerking on me again and he said he’s not gonna warranty Transmission put $5000 in there and he did a lousy job and every time I call he’s backed up please do not waste your money with this person. This person should be out of business. He wants to shop really really bad. I wish I would’ve paid credit card I would’ve disputed my money back. now I have to spend another $6000 on a transmission It sucks to deal with somebody like that. I don’t know how he continues staying in business when you screw people around, but I believe in Karma.
Torque converter went out on my tundra in January. (I bought the truck used, for one, because the truck had zero oil leaks, and no transmission leaks.) I bring into the A&G. The dude was very nice. I pay him $2,000 to swap out the torque converter. I drive home and notice transmission drip where the transmission meets the engine. I tell him about it, and he asks me to bring it back in. I do. I get the truck back and still a leak. I’m a pool tech. If I repaired someone’s pool equipment and left them with a leak, they would never call me back. So I won’t be going back. It sucks because with a tundra or any vehicle like this, the transmission is sealed, so I cannot add fluid if it is low. I know how to add fluid, but the transmission needs to be at the correct temp to get the correct level. You would think that would make them want to get the transmission sealed. So I know that I’m going to have to spend more money soon to get the fluid leveled out. Saying this, the truck runs great, for now.
This should be the first and only place you go when you have an issue with your Transmission. The owner is very nice and so full of knowledge, and had our cat transmission fixed a day ahead of schedule. We're very thankful A&G was recommended to us.
Excellent place to get work done on your transmission, I bought it to other places that was telling me either I needed a new transmission or I needed to get it rebuilt on my suv, but when I brought it to A and G Transmission I didn’t need either and I was so happy because of that cause the price was very reasonable and they was very professional and told me all the details that they did to my suv and they fix some other issues I had. Excellent customer service skills and I highly recommend thus place to bring your automobile if u have any problems with your transmission. If I can give 10 stars I would. Thank you so much for restoring my transmission back to new.
I've had two different transmissions repaired at this place. So far they are always right in competition as far as Cost but they get your car in and out quickly versus some of the other shops that quoted me a 10 to 15-day turnaround time.
This shop did a really good job rebuilding the transmission on my Jeep. The staff was pleasant and willing to explain the pros and cons of rebuild vs refurbishment to me so I knew all of my options. They also helped identify an additional problem with my vehicle. It was a pricey fix but they did a good job!
Great service! Real experts. They do great work! Been there with several vehicles over the decades, never more then once per vehicle. When they fix the problem, it is fixed!
Amazing place to take your vehicle to. The mechanics are great to work with, are professional and honest. My '02 Mustang actually runs better than when I first bought it 10 years ago. Would recommend these guys to anyone.
