My Taco got something stuck by the driveshaft.... I stopped by ( no appointment) waited about 15 minutes and got my problem solved no prob. 5 bucks and out the door. Thanks guys.
Got tierod done here and a used tire...was told on the phone when we called that they charge $25 to look at our vehicle to see what needs done. The guy on the phone said if we got the work done there the $25 would get refunded back to us...we scheduled the tierod and used tire replacement for the following week. We went to pick our car up and the tire they gave us is TERRIBLE!!! Almost bald, uneven wear and its dry rotting...SMH when we told the owner we can't pay $50 for a tire that will barely last a week, his response was well its better then the tire that was on there...LOL the tire that was on there had much more tread and wasn't dry rotting!!! Plus we NEVER got our $25 back will never go here again!!! To bad for them have another vehicle that needs some pricey work done and will go somewhere else that doesn't also seem desperate for customers. They seemed desperate for work...like they don't get much and need to make some quick money. Smh
This is a great place to go get auto repairs. Jimmy Christian is a knowledgeable mechanic who has been working on cars before I was thought of. Yes we have the same last name. And yes, he is my father. But he honestly knows his stuff about cars. If you want the best, Jim Christian and A-A Auto Doctor is where to go get your car needs met.
Pricing started fair then gouged after tons of breaks for others peoples cars and for trips to the store which they kept the time clock running for (i sat there and watched) one worker actually moving and got his end done hours before the other even had 1 caliper off cause he moves like a sloth, had all new hubs,rotors, and pads put in. The shop had my buy 2 whole new calipers as well for a seized guide pin (sold individually but insisted on the full caliper) which took the majority of the next the day for them to install. And i got my car back and my brakes are rubbingbaround the entire the car now so off to another shop to have it done correct!!
Had tires out on in another place and they messed them up. Went here to get it fixed and they was really rude. Told me to take it the F back to the other place. Like I would really go back to a place that messed up to begin with. Not real friendly people. If you didn't go to them first then they will let you know about it. Will cuss at you!!!
They cross threaded my oil filter housing causing it to leak. I lost too much oil causing my engine to lock up. I took them to court and they claimed the brand new part was bad. In addition to this they charged me for anti freeze and put water in my reservoir. When it frozen up I had no heat. This according to the department of transportation is a safety issue. If you can't see out your front window you shouldn't be driving.
I have utilized their service several times now. It is a small shop with modest ability. They replaced a bearing and then the axel on the front end. Two tries. Another company is redoing the work as the car became almost uncontrollable on the highway, a cotter pin held, thankfully so. Disappointed.
