Amazing place kinda off the beaten path. Nice home feel, fresh cooked meals. Breakfast and lunch all day. Friendly staff, good parking in front and rear. Sometimes there are few people, if the parking lot is full, I'll usually go someplace else since the parking lot to seating ratio is pretty spot-on.
Between showing properties, I decided to try this place. I’d been wanting to go for a long time, just never made it there. I’m glad I did! I had the patty melt (dipped in ranch) and homemade fries as recommended from my waitress. It was really good. I’m going to try breakfast next time! Or the Rueben it looked delicious too. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I’ll be back. Closes at 3 so have to go early!
We stopped here for lunch when driving through Mountain Home today, and it is an excellent place! We didn't order breakfast, but it's served til close (3pm), and they won an award for best breakfast in town. My husband had a Reuben sandwich with fresh-cut fries, and I had the cashew grilled chicken salad and a cup of ham & bean soup-- it was all delicious! The two ladies serving tables were completely awesome-- the epitome of friendly, perfect service. Highly recommend this restaurant.
My boyfriend found this place while visiting Mountain Home by luck, just driving around while I was doing laundry at the laundromat.
A cute cottage on the outside and excellent food and service on the inside. They don’t skimp on the ham in the ham and cheese omelet . There were huge ham off the bone chunks and lots of melted cheese, swirl rye bread and great hash browns . He said best omelet ever. I had the sausage gravy and biscuits. Nice and fluffy the way I like them ,
The staff is very friendly and conversational and seem to know all the regulars. That’s important. Would come again if ever here in Mountain Home.
9th Street Grill is a cozy hometown cafe located in a former home. Servers were very friendly. I observed the owner/chef taking a real personal interest in patrons. Locals were just as amiable. The veggie omelet was large and delicious, as well as everything else I ordered for breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised to see sugar free custard pie on the daily specials board.
Went with my MIL for breakfast, and it didn't disappoint.
The atmosphere was really homey, and friendly. There were obvious patrons that went there fairly regularly, and everyone knew each other. Picture Cheers, where everybody knows your name????????????
We went for breakfast, but you can have it all day, and they serve lunch, both of which includes Specials that are on the board.
So, stop in and give 9th St Grill a whirl????????????
From the time you walk in the door you feel welcomed. Had eggs benedict, instead of using thin Canadian Bacon they used real delicious ham. Eggs cooked perfect. It doesn't come with hashbrowns so I got a side. Everyone is so kind and pleasant. This was a homerun for my brother because he usually has something negative to stay not today. He was so happy. The owner also the Chef shows his love of cooking in his food. Will definitely be back in 2 weeks. OBTW the prices are more than fair.
We stopped here on a road trip through town. Our waitress was so friendly and welcoming. You could really feel the small town spirit in this place. I would highly recommend the crepes. They were delicious!
