We couldn’t wait to return to 7 Cafe after being away for more than 2 years. Our nephew used to live around the corner and we could come the 7 Cafe every morning when we visited him. He had since moved away but we had a chance to return to the old neighborhood on our resent visit to San Diego. The first place we decided to eat was the 7 Cafe. The owner, wait staff and food are all outstanding.
We’re from NYC and we highly recommend that you make the 7 a stop one of your dining experiences while in San Diego.
Great food and service. The menu has quite the variety and all of the items taste fresh and flavorful. My family ordered lunch and breakfast and everything was great!
Seriously some of the best food around San Diego. The prices are beyond reasonable for the amount of food you get. Also get the pancakes. You won't be disappointed. Some of the best I've ever had.

These are probably the best pancakes I’ve ever had. Their website says that they are made fresh that day, I can tell. My photos may not be the best, but they are so fluffy and have a great taste. I’m looking forward to trying other menu items. Today I just had a pancake craving and I got lucky with these ????????
They are also super quick, made in under 10 min.

One big reason why I don’t dine here anymore is because every time I walk in that place, my energy goes down. It’s depressing. They have the tv constantly going like you’re in a depressing retirement home. This isn’t inviting and going to drive away customers. There are plenty of places that focus on making it enjoyable for the customer. How hard is it to maybe mute the tv and play music?
Wait 45 minutes for two pancakes and a hot chocolate I was the only person at the restaurant ???? also the male cashier gave me a coffee first instead of a hot chocolate then tried to argue me down that it’s hot chocolate but it was instead coffee I been drinking coffee since I been 3 years old I know what it tastes like the young lady took it back and brought me back hot chocolate
Wonderful option for breakfast in the area. Costumer service is to notch. I had the bagel Sunrise and it was very tasty toasted to perfection, it tasted fresh made. The fruit was fresh and juicy. They offer coffee bar with excellent selections. It's a small place and thus they may have wait but, take it to go, or wait, it is well worth it
Staying at a nearby hotel and a quick search for breakfast places reveled this nearby gem. Was advertised to open at 9 am but was a little late to open today. Walked in a placed my order at the counter and grabbed a seat. Had the meat omelette and a large OJ for $18 and some change. Service was quick and my omelette hit the spot.
Amazing food, huge portions, great prices, and friendly staff. Best Bagels and Lox, I've ever had- wild caught salmon.
