Stop by very busy seem like good guys
I've been taking my car here for several years now. Nothing too major, just minor repairs/maintenance. Bobby and his staff are good, honest people who get the job done in a timely manner. They don't try to tack on extra charges like other places do. I won't take my car anywhere else.
Have been treated fairly, and priced very reasonable prices on repairs , I'd send my mother or grandmother here and never loose a minutes sleep . Had state inspections done here many times , never an issue . Always treated like a friend not a customer .
Been going to Bob and the guys at 5th Street Automotive for about 15 years now. They took a job that the Ford dealership quoted $600 and realized the dealer was wrong and took care of it for $90. They check things out and don't charge extra for checking things, and they never try to add on stuff to what I needed done. They respect old cars and are fantastic to deal with. You're paying a fair price for your repairs because you're not paying for fancy lounge areas or vending machines. I take all my vehicles there and recommend them all the time!
Fifth st automotive is the place I take my vehicles to be serviced, they do an excellent job on repairs and maintenance, they don't charge an Arm and a Leg to fix your vehicle. I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking a great mechanic (Robbie) to repair or perform maintenance on their vehicle without the huge expense that the big box repair shop charges.I love to support hometown businesses and Fifth St Automotive definitely is the Gold Standard for your Automotive repair and maintenance needs.

5 years ago took my car in to have new clutch put in and I drove out from there very happy!!! Chad and his dad were great to work with & did a great job at a affordable price
That's why I trusted them now to do some work on same car
We came here for a inspection. Our mechanic does not do them. They failed the inspection stating we needed a ball joint on the right side. Then quoted a price of 800.00 and that they'd do the work. We stated we have a mechanic that he'd do it. So we had our mechanic do it..250.00 btw. For him to do it. So we took it back to 5th Street..again tthe owner failed it. Saying he told us both sides needed done. We stated our mechanic checked both and they are fine. He said the work was not properly done and again quoted a price for them to do it. Then we said we wanted to go to a different inspection station for another opinion. Then he got mad..yelled at us. .refused to let us leave by standing in front of our vehicle stating he would call the state police in us because it was illegal for us to leave his lot since he failed the inspection. We finally got out if there to another inspection station. Told them what happened and asked them to double check for a second opinion and if they did find 5th Street was right we'd get it repaired and come back. They said there us absolutely nothing wrong with your ball joints. They noted they seen new one that had just been done the day before and checked the rest while doing the inspection. Guess what..it passed.
