Best WLM Reviews

Great vibes in this place. Your eyes first feast on the walls and ceilings, as they are a beautifully displayed art museum. The music is upbeat and not too loud
The menu is upscale-not really kid friendly. The servers are kind and helpful to you and to each other. Our food was good. It was a beautiful presentation and represented the place well. Lacking seasoning but pretty good sauces on the meat
I recently had the pleasure of dining at 5Church Atlanta and I am excited to share my review with you!
Let's start with the Chicken and Waffles topped with fresh fruit that my husband ordered. This dish was a delightful twist on a classic favorite. The chicken was perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The addition of fresh fruit on top added a refreshing and tangy element, balancing out the savory flavors of the chicken and waffles. The combination of sweet and savory made each bite a burst of deliciousness. It was a unique and creative take on a beloved dish, and I highly recommend trying it.
As for me, I decided to indulge in the Shrimp and Grits. And let me tell you, it was a decision I did not regret. The shrimp were cooked to perfection, tender and succulent. They were served on a bed of creamy, flavorful grits that were absolutely heavenly. The dish had a wonderful balance of flavors, with the natural sweetness of the shrimp complementing the rich and creamy grits. It was a comforting and satisfying dish that left me craving for more.
Overall, our dining experience at 5Church Atlanta was exceptional. The restaurant's ambiance was stylish and inviting, and the service was attentive and friendly. Whether you're in the mood for a unique twist on Chicken and Waffles or a comforting plate of Shrimp and Grits, 5Church Atlanta has got you covered. I highly recommend visiting this establishment for a memorable culinary experience.
I love coming here. It’s such a lovely place aesthetically pleasing and food is good. I had brunch with a friend. Downside is the server had to be found by the GM. The server finally returned and asked if we were doing ok, and my friend honestly replied no because we’d been waiting for a good minute (maybe 15+) for someone to come to our table. Our drinks had been empty and we wanted to order another side. Regardless, she still received her auto 20% gratuity. They do validate parking. Will return again and hopefully catch the rooftop with better weather soon.
5Church Midtown is marvelous! I can't stop thinking about my experience at 5Church. The moment we pulled up the Valet greeted us and parked our vehicle. We went during Sunday brunch and the hostess immediately seated us as we had reservations.
We ordered the Sushi Tot appetizer and it was the best appetizer I've had in my life. I ordered the Deception in the Garden signature cocktail and it was beautiful and delightful. For the main course and I had the Fried chicken biscuit and roasted potato hash. It was fresh hot and crispy.
Lastly, we had the pumpkin cheesecake for dessert and it was so light flavorful, fluffy and filling. The waitress said their desserts are made fresh daily by a pastry chef and it shows. I can't wait to visit this restaurant for dinner. The ambience and atmosphere was impeccable.
Very flavorful food with unique menu options. I had the 10oz NY strip steak - good flavor, but lots of fatty pieces. Husband had the 14oz ribeye - he liked his! We topped it with caramelized onions and mushrooms. I had the Brussels sprouts for my side - great flavor! He had the mashed potatoes. We also ordered a side of fries, which were incredible! Other members of our party tried the pork chops with mash potatoes, and the hazelnut crusted salmon, both of which they said were good. They ended with the pumpkin cheesecake which they said was excellent. It’s definitely a more upscale place. We are glad we checked it out.
Fonzell: 10/10, kind and enthusiastic!
Manager Nikki: 2/10, begrudging, uninformed and a fibber.
5Church Midtown: 7/10, pretty restaurant and pleasant servers. It takes a long time (around an hour) to get food back, so don’t come if your incredibly hungry.
Mr. Fonzell was AMAZING. He was very knowledgeable about the menu, and was humble enough to disclose about the items he did not know about or didn’t like.
The food was pretty to look at. Five stars for Instagram-ability. However, I definitely will say the food is more for the eyes than the taste buds.
I regret to report the manager was subpar, maybe mediocre. During my visit to this restaurant, Atlanta has declared a contamination warning for the city of Atlanta. Me and my counterparts are not from this county so we’re not aware of this warning. Luckily, our server was aware and informed and served us bottled water. But it was not clear that we will be charged for it (since tap water was unavailable due to the contamination.)
Originally we were charged for four bottles of water that we did not get to complete. We took it up with the manager Nikki. She was defensive and uninformed about the contaminated water warning. She was quick to make assumptions and didn’t seem to want to listen to us. We were later informed that Manager Nikki claimed we cussed her and were unkind. All the while, we only asked if we had to be charged for the water since we could not get tap.
Overall, I will give this experience 3.5 stars, and all 3.5 stars are coming from our server Fonzell and the ambiance of the restaurant (the other servers were very nice too) He’s truly was a delight and maybe the best server I’ve had in my fine dining experiences.
Highly recommend!
Was nervous about the wait because a lot of people were going in and my party (of 4) didn’t make reservations. Went for my 26th birthday. Walked in and was already able to sit down within seconds. Service was pretty fast. The ambiance was very intimate. Our waiter, Justin, took amazing care of us. The food was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Like I mentioned before, it was my birthday. Justin gave me a complimentary beverage along with a card signed by the staff and himself. It was very thoughtful and I will never forget this experience. Very very meaningful to me. I appreciate it it all.
This was my first visit to 5Church & the experience was wonderful! I dined with a friend for lunch. Fonzell was our server & he was absolutely amazing!! His knowledge of the menu and excellent recommendations made our experience so entertaining and enjoyable! We ordered the lobster rolls and had mocktails of popular menu items recommended by Fonzell! Our experience was immaculate & I will definitely be back again! Thank you Fonzell for making this a wonderful experience for us!
