Came here on a week day 8:30am for breakfast a local spot very vintage spot old school! Has a nice atmosphere! I got 2 eggs over easy bacon (crispy) you get home fries and I got French toast with butter and powered sugars, cup of coffee. The service was excellent my server was welcoming friendly and made sure my cup was refilled when almost empty. Will be back again. the bathroom was clean and the tables where clean in restaurant! They do lunch also but haven't tried yet only been here during breakfast time.
The 50’s diner is a great place to have breakfast. The pancakes are huge and fluffy, and the eggs are perfectly cooked. The wait staff are friendly and attentive. There can be a line to get in, but it’s worth the wait. I highly recommend the 50’s Diner!
Very nostalgic, quite busy, I had Benedict egg plate, tasty sauce. However, the side potatoes were half uncooked, half burned, probably because of the busy kitchen.
Still liked the place.
Went for breakfast. The place is small but cute on the inside. Food is great quality and quantity. I was actually surprised with the amount of food you get. It was so much more food than I expected that I could not finish. I had the 50’s diner special, and my husband had an omelet. Cash-only diner.
FANTASTIC !! I was in the area for an event, and was looking for someplace to eat (not a fan of the "big name places")
How can you go wrong, with a 50's dinner... The place is cozy, but accommodating, and has a fun, friendly atmosphere. The food, is AMAZING !!
Excellent portion size, loaded with flavor (I had eggs and homemade Hash) and served in a timely manner, by a great waitress (excellent sense of humor).
I would recommend you bring your family, friends, their friends...hell, even people you don't like... it's that good ????????????????
Hands down one of the best Chicken sandwiches I have ever eaten , chicken is fresh veggies look great fries are not salted and cooked to perfection keep up the good work , recommended to call ahead for take out busy place during lunch oh and cash only too
Absolutely a family restaurant, they even have a bubble gum machine that gives the gums to kids for free. They don't take cc so be ready for it and bring your cash, there's an ATM inside the restaurant but it will charge you a fee. Everything on the menu is good and the waitresses are very friendly.
Great little diner in Dedham near Legacy Mall area. Cash only restaurant, but ATM available inside for convenience. The prices are very reasonable and significantly lower than other breakfast options in mall area. The corn beef egg Benedict was good and the Belgium waffle was delicious. The breakfast potatoes were not good and not tender like starchy uncooked potatoes, I would choose other sides next time.
