Food was great and the waitress was too. The egg rolls were some of the better I’ve ever had and the rest of food is just ok. Not wowing. The choices are not as huge as some buffets but it works for some tasty food. Would go here again.
So to start off I've been going here since I was a kid (now being in my 30s with kids) and today was confusing and more of a blameshifting time. We arrived at 3:20pm on Saturday which as you see from the pictures is lunch time. We ate some and I proceeded to get a smaller second plate including these yellow sea shells with crab and cheese on them. Sat down and smelled something was really off. Almost a spoiled smell. I lifted the shell up and instantly smelled a horrid spoiled dairy smell. I confronted them about it respectfully with constantly saying "I don't wanna make a scene." or saying "I don't wanna say this to loud.". They said ok after explaining them what was wrong. Two more waitresses came up and I said the same thing to them. They didn't take my plate from me nor smelled the item that was spoiled. I sat down with this plate smelling awful, but it was ok because I was rudely asked if I needed water, and rudely asked if I was done with my plate after 5 min. Also they didn't take the buffet plate full of those shells with crab until we left so no telling how many people got them. We got our check and noticed that one buffet said 11.99 and the other said 13.99 with a 12.99 under it scratched out. The 3.99 was my kiddos plate and we all got waters as well. At first she said "oh the cheese is what smelled bad, it was cosco fault. Bad cheese or new cheese.". I told them what's the difference with the prices and they said "Because you got seafood, seafood was a dinner item, we charged extra. I know we don't have posted but I'll go ahead and make it 11.99 for you.". So you're tell me after spoiled cheese that could make people sick you're gonna charge me extra? Even tho I came in at lunch time? This is crazy. I'm happy they fixed the price and maybe fixed the cheese thing but I don't think they will learn. If you go here check on the price and time you get there so you don't get up charged.
Spectacular experience. Astonishingly good restaurant for a relatively small town like this. Excellent selection, wonderful sushi, terrific salad bar, everything fresh. Great experience. Thank you. Disciple James
5 Star is one of my favorite places in town to go eat. For some reason, the best food seems to be served on Friday, with Thursday being a close second. The staff is really friendly and the restaurant is always clean.
1st time in my life turning down Chinese food. Really gross n un fresh. I asked my waitress I did not care for any of it. It's a buffet! Nothing fresh. Waitress still charged me. My families last visit there. Close your doors
Waitress was rude, food was overdone. She seated us in a corner like a bunch of dogs and then threw our receipt at us before i could get my second plate. Would NOT recommend, especially for the rude service.
The mixture of Chinese and American food is tasty and they have dishes I hadn't seen before on such a buffet but is heavy on fried foods. The salad bar is exceptional. The spinach is extra crispy and the vegetables are plentiful and cut in more reasonably sized bites than usual. The crackers and the candy coated peanuts were both mushy.
My first time here and glad I decided to stop. The food was fresh, hot, and loaded with flavor. A few ofthe dishes reminded me of why I fell in love with Chinese (Americanized Chinese, lol) in the first place.
A fellow diner, a regular, suggested the sushi as well. No complaints!
The crab rangoon was some of the best I have ever tasted. Fresh, tender, and the flavor was perfect. The egg rolls were very flavorful and tender. A must try for the hardent Chinese diner.
