Best WLM Reviews
Recommend a 100% food tastes amazing, food served fast and everyone is super polite, friendly and nice.
Amazing food, unassuming from the outside but very cozy and relaxing inside. I'm from up north, but I knew from the family-owned Mexican restaurant in my town, the food would be the best over anything nearby. Ordered mixed chicken steak and shrimp fajitas, the most expensive of the fajitas as it was my birthday but they were superb! I would suggest playing some Mexican music though, I didn't mind the quiet but some music helps the vibe with delicious food.
Cook that came out to help bring my order was very polite, always enjoy eating at Mexican places partly because the staff are always great. Waitress was very sweet, reminded me of a lost love though. Was trying to forget but the universe just keeps putting heart-faced, soft spoken Mexican ladies around I guess. Wow, thanks universe!!
We were excited to try this restaurant seeing how our favorite restaurant in Ohio is cinco De mayo. the soda was uncarbonated, the food was not that good, the kids didn't even eat the chicken nuggets there is no atmosphere and the parking lot is full of pot holes. I'm sorry it just wasn't good
We absolutely love 5 De Mayo! This is the only place we go for mexican food when visiting Myrtle Beach!
Everything up to the rice and beans were very well seasoned and delicious. I ordered one taco of each pollo asado, carne asada y carnitas. Waitress was very quick and attentive. Authentic music.
Quick service, kind staff, beautiful atmosphere! They were thorough and thoughtful with my food restrictions. They have a great vegetarian menu that can easily be vegan, even a chimichanga!! Officially my favorite Mexican food spot in Myrtle.
I’m am a foodie and really the only thing that is important to me is the quality and taste of the food. I’m from the Boston area and visiting Myrtle Beach. We wanted to find a Mexican restaurant since it’s Cinco de Mayo. The place didn’t have many people, which was surprising, but I was extremely impressed when I tasted my food. The carne assada was a great piece of tender meat that was incredibly flavored. One of the best carne assadas I’ve even gotten and I am very experienced with that dish. My mates also loved their dishes although they aren’t as discriminating as me.
Nice staff, great food! Clean restaurant. Just a little bit on the pricey side.
