The 5-8 tavern was a fantastic experience . I went on Saturday morning for breakfast, and it was fairly quiet. The breakfast menu is extensive enough to cover most breakfast foods. Both meals ordered to the table were The Eye Opener. This came with hashbrowns , eggs, toast, and bacon or sausage. The prices are fair and the food is plentiful. The waitress helping us was extremely helpful and kind. She checked in often and asked how our food was tasting.
The service was amazing! We loved our waitress. The French fries were the best part. Was a little underwhelmed with the Lucy burger thing. Came out very pink and no cheese in the middle. But the cheese curds were phenomenal!!!
Here's the deal.... If you like Juicy Lucy's, there are many in the Twin Cities to choose from. The 5-8 Club has more options than most of the "Juicy" restaurants around town. The vibe at this location is great with pull tabs and a bar side as well as a family restaurant side. Our server, Linda, was INSANELY good and was so kind and attentive to our family. She deserves a RAISE! long story short, great food, great staff. Wonderful experience.
Food was really good! It took a little bit to get some service but once we did it was good. Food came out quick. The fried chicken was crispy. Blue cheese burger has a good amount of blue cheese. Both items were really good.
Great spot for Juicy Lucy's. Came in for 'Dine out for life' and really happy to support restaurantes who support this cause! Service was really friendly, food was quick and delicious. I'll be back!
Food was quite good. Their sweet potato fries were nice and crispy. Definitely worth the upgrade.
Food was wonderful. I had a veggie burger and my boyfriend had a juicy lucy. We both loved our meal and Linda was the best waitress ever. She was so sweet and made us laugh!
Are here with some co-workers for lunch. They were able to accommodate a large group of 7 without a call ahead which is usually recommended. I ordered a saucy Sally juicy Lucy and subbed onion rings it was sooo good I ate every bite.
