The mexican food here was ok not great. I like the historic downtown Nampa area. This place is in the heart of it making it worth a visit. The wife did enjoy the Birria tacos
An honest food review... we tried a few things because it was our first time. The Jammin Habanero burger is good. However, the delicious jam and sauce only works if the burger is big enough to complement itself. It was a 1/4 lb burger at best with so much sauce flavor that you can't taste the burger at all. The quesabirra taco was soggy with oil but not fried at all lacking cheese but good meat, and the consomme broth was very good. The fries are 1/4inch light batter fry that are very good. Unfortunately, they were warm at best. Fish taco was tasty. They had a good corn tortilla with a spicy tasty sauce. Over this was OK but has the potential to be great.
This place was really great! I would definitely return here.
They have delicious quesabirria, ceviche, and sandwiches.
The michelada was fantastic. The only thing is I would put less bbq sauce on the brisket sandwich.
I went to a dueling pianos event at this restaurant. First tickets were one price no reserved seating. However, upon arrival there (45 min before the show) was reserved/assigned seating with people's names on the tables, and no one could explain it. However, if you did not have an assigned seat, they put you in the back under the balcony or on the balcony. The sound where I was under the balcony was terrible along with every single table around me having loud conversations during the entire event. I have been in other venues to see this show before and always had a good time the guys are great, funny and put on a good show. However, at this location with everyone talking vs watching the show it was miserable and I'll just make the drive to Boise when I want to see a quality performance in a more professional venue. The gal running the door was terrible and could use some training on her people skills as there were none. I don't know if this place is popular or not but it's not a place I will go back to. 5 stars for the performers though.
Came in for “happy hour”
Had 2 appetizers and their Shrimp Cocktail.
Chips and Salsa, terrible chips and store bought salsa.
Wings, were good, sauce was definitely BWW store bought sauce.
Shrimp cocktail was excellent.
Big problem with the pricing for happy hour. Now I don’t care to pay more I eat out everyday but to blatantly not honor the price explained why on a Friday the place was dead. This was my third attempt at this place. Can’t do it again.
Did get the dollar off of beers though.

Local sports bar/mexican restaurant in Nampa. Fully stocked bar with plenty of beer choices.
The squeeze and I shared an order of wings, onion rings, beef soup and a mixed green salad. We had no idea the soup bowl was going to be the size of a wash basin, at least it looked like it.
The soup was very tasty, plenty of veggies along with the beef, and it was stove hot. Either corn or flour tortillas come with it. The salad was good too!
The mango-habanero wings were good and meaty, the sauce sweet with a little bite to it. They were cooked perfectly, and you get eight in an order.
The onion rings were pretty good as well, but they did have the pullout problem if I didn't get a good bite on them. This seems like a norm at most places, except for Sonic. They remove the thin skin from the onion, but that is time consuming.
The service was very good but I didn't get the server's name. She did have some cute braided pigtails, so shes know who she is. Thanks!

Customer service here was a joke, I am now currently eating after an hour an 1:15 minutes and only after ( 20 minutes ago) I asked them to just charge us for our appetizers so we could leave.
I couldn’t even leave because they told us food would be out and it took 45 minutes for our whole table to receive their meal.
Foods burnt, unpalatable, and I’m just upset
Edit I’m now just leaving with the check an hour and half in. Half the food just came out now, we’re leaving with it.
Happened to be walking old downtown Nampa and came across this wonderful place!! The food is phenomenal!! I highly recommend the carne asada tacos! Our server Brittanie was fantastic!! Highly recommend this place for quick, friendly service and wonderful food!
