My first impression upon entering the store: it is clean, very well lit, well stocked, very organized and extremely neat - and it was Saturday! I spent a few minutes looking at a vast array of crochet braids. A gentleman asked if I needed help. He was friendly and welcoming. He directed me to the area of the store I inquired about & left me to peruse the selection.
A while later, a friendly woman asked if I needed help (I know I looked confused, so I'm really glad she came to me.) She helped me make my selections. I am always pleased when folks allow me to browse in the store & offer help if a floor person is on duty. No one hovered or did anything to make me feel uncomfortable. I happily shopped for about 30 minutes.
The prices are competitive, lots of parking spaces and in a great location. I look forward to returning for additional products.
Update 2022. I had to take a star away. I went there one day as I usually get products and hair for my clients and I had a reusable bag. I usually shop with my bags in any store but the cashier guy stops me abruptly and raised his voice to me "use a cart! Use a cart!" I was taken aback and didn't understand what his problem was. He kept yelling at me and pointing to the carts and said don't use a bag. I said ok calm down. I just held the products I had in my hands till I went to the register.
He must've had a problem with people stealing I suppose. I understand store policy but that's not how you speak to people. That really turned me off. As a licensed cosmetologist I've always supported this store but the customer service needs work.
2018: I love this beauty supply store well organized and fairly priced. If something is not in the store they'll call to see if it's in the sister store. The only thing i don't like is the quality of help varies depending on what girl is working that day.
Don’t like how one person in the aisle tell you a price you get to the register and it’s a different price no apologies , bad customer service. Coming from an experienced manager that was not acceptabled won’t be returning. Located in the hood so I see why these woman got bad attitudes.

If something wasn't available, the Staff would attempt to order it if need be. And, The Owners were generous in offering samples of New and upcoming Products.

Garnett is a beautiful young lady that has excellent customer service! I beleive she's usually there on Friday, Saturday & Sunday. A lot of choices.
I love coming to this beauty supply because it is always well organized and priced. The staff can sometimes be helpful not very often. They always willing to order a product if they don't have it.
Very knowledgeable, and honest. Instead of selling me something I didn't need the owner advised me to not use the product i inquired about which cost over$100 innate he suggested anotherproduct for only$10.
