The food here never disappoints! My husband and I can’t figure out our favorite dish because everything we’ve gotten is so good. The chopped BBQ, sweet cornbread, and shrimp & grits might be our top though. We’ve never had a wait and the service is wonderful! We love sitting on the porch but the inside dining area is gorgeous as well.
Lots of good food choices here, chicken and waffles, NY Strip, Pot Roast, Steamed Mussels (good portion size), we all took food home. Nice atmosphere in side, our server was great (didn't catch her name).
The pot roast was so good I thought they had my mother cooking in the kitchen. Instantly comfortable great place recommended highly All the people there very friendly and helpful.
I enjoyed 44th and King last night so much. I came for Happy Hour and tried a few wines as well as a few dishes. I tried the Fried chicken and the Beef Stew. Both were delicious but my favorite was the Beef Stew! You can tell that their food is homemade. The bartender, Logan, was very personable and made the best wine flight. Nonetheless, I had a great experience at 44th and King. I can’t wait to return.
We stopped in to try them out on Valentine's day and we were not disappointed. Our server was amazing and very friendly (I think her name was Caroline). But the staff wasn't the only thing great. The food was awesome. I had the grilled cheese (out of this world good with the sweet and salt combination) and my wife got the White Cheddar Chicken Burger and it was great as well. We had 2 strawberry margaritas and they were very tasty (even though they were not like your typical margaritas). We will certainly be back as they had too many good menu items to pick from in just one trip
This is one of my wife and I favorite place to eat when in town. We always know the food is great and the service is just the same.
I ordered the Arcady it really a good drink (similar to an old fashion) and wife had a house margarita.
For our food we had the happy hour nachos with pork OMG it's so good. Then we split the pork chop dinner it comes with 2 large chops mashed potatoes and 1 side we has the collard greens, our friend had the fish tacos.
As always everything is very good we like coming out to the happy hour specials you get so much more food and drinks for your money. We will return when in the area!!
Our neighbor suggested this place and it was sooo good. Our table had meatloaf, pot pie, fried chicken and the Kings Burger. Everyone raved about their meal. Mashed potatoes and collard greens were awesome. Destiny was our server and you couldn't find better. Highly recommend and relatively inexpensive
The service was great, and the atmosphere was delightful. The food was not 5/5. I asked for the salmon and risotto, but it was bland. My dad asked for the ribeye, and it was also bland. The ribs were yummy but on the drier side. The Mac and cheese were on point!!! And so were the sweet potato fries!! The red wine did not taste as it should. It tasted like wine coolers. I had a hurricane drink that was amazing!
