Great food and very well priced lunch. Super friendly people working here. Will definitely stop back by the next time I'm in the area.
On may the 28th approximately 11:20 am I went in a got a chilli slaw hamburger and sweet tea. This is my fault for not saying anything at that time but I didn't want to embarrass my e or the young man and woman BUT they charged me 17 dollars. Yep. 17, my fault. I went to call in the morning of the 29th about to over on the till draw but couldn't find a phone number for them. I still would not drive from Rome to them to get it back. Welcome I suppose a big tip.
I hadn't been in here for years, and after visiting today (Thursday May 20, 2022 around 1pm) I had forgotten what a great place it is.
1. Prices are extremely reasonable.
2. Location is great
3. Plenty of parking in area
4. Service is fast and professional
5. Food is good and quantity is ample.
I had the chili burger "all the way" which is burger with chili, onions and mustard. Absolutely delicious. My wife had the hot dog "all the way", hot dog with chili, onions and mustard.
Based on these 5 factors, it's a 5 star place for us.

Went in today for the first time for breakfast. I arrived after breakfast cutoff but was looking at menu for breakfast anyway to come back the next day. Waitress ripped the menu from my hands and flipped it over to the lunch side and said told you breakfast was over. Being I drove 2 hrs to get to this town I was hungry. I ordered the steak sandwich with the brown gravy. I received my order and really not sure what I got. But it was runny and not very good looking. I ate 3 bites and that was it. No flavor and very strange tasting. I won’t be coming back tomorrow for breakfast.
This place is horrible! The staff doesn’t wear gloves when they’re cooking the food, no hand washing before preparing food, and customer service was horrible. The food was burnt and looked like slop. I will definitely be reporting this place to the health department first thing Monday morning. The only reason why we stayed is because the cook began preparing the food before we realized that no gloves were being used. I ordered an omelette with tomatoes and the girl pulls out a container of sliced tomatoes and begins to dice them without washing her hands first or putting on gloves. I even seen one server wipe her nose with her hands and scratch her head, again no hands were washed.
Awesome experience! This place has been in business for close to 100 years! Great food at a very good price, and a one-of-a-kind experience! Get a burger and dog all the way. You won't be disappointed!
In their defense, we were looking for breakfast. Arrived at 10:30 to find out breakfast ended at 10. Menu was very small, and prices were cheap, so opted for what everyone else seemed to be enjoying, chili dogs. Nothing special. Seemed to be just meat and beans in an oily liquid. Made for a soggy experience. Fork and knife needed. Wasn’t bad, but not something I’d go back for. Wife opted for a chicken sandwich. Expected a chicken breast, got a frozen pressed meat patty. Once again, edible, but not something you go back for.
Long time local eatery noted for cheeseburgers, hot ???? and fries covered in (optional) steak gravy! Very friendly laid back atmosphere.
