Evers is the best local mechanic in the Echo Park / Silverlake area. Great service and prices.
My car is a '96 BMW. I've been taking it to him for almost 6 years. (Don't get any ideas because my car is an old one, I've seen some pretty nice newer model cars on his lot before). Evers definitely cares about his customers and their cars and it seems like he can fix just about anything.
He does some bodywork, too.
*His parking lot is kind of small so you might want to call before you come in just so you know if there's room to pull in.
It’s unfortunate when you come across a shop with good reviews and then you go in and get the exact opposite of a quality experience. It’s also unfortunate that now I have to leave a fair & honest review due to this experience - they were neither fair or honest and they also basically spat in my face. They promised me a price on the phone & didn’t hold up their integrity and word once I had my vehicle brought by. They jacked up the price in person; not sure if they were being discriminatory, greedy, or just plain got off on being straight up manipulative and disrespectful. Thought I could trust these gentlemen since the reviews say I should, but I wouldn’t & they did nothing but waste my time and make rude comments. I wouldn’t in good faith be able to recommend this shop to my friends, family, or acquaintances. I will be taking my business elsewhere - and if I were you, I would too.
I'm giving a quick/partial review because I just picked up my vehicle 5 days ago. So far so good on the work they completed. I'm a little put off on how I was treated & that the problem I wanted fixed or at least addressed was just brushed off. The work that was done needed to be done. But I still don't know what the damn screeching is. He showed me where it was coming from but that was all. For $700 cash ($300 cash for brakes a year ago on my old vehicle) I don't feel like my business was appreciated. I just want an honest mechanic that is happy to provide some customer service. I have to wonder if he even wants my business. My car needs a little more work & I am happy to pay cash. Maybe they have all of the business they need &/or want?
Really good people there! They know their stuff and tell you exactly what the problem is and how much it'll cost to fix it without breaking your bank account!
My car started overheating and I was no where near home, alone, and know absolutely nothing about cars. Going into auto shops as a young woman there’s always that doubt I was going to get ripped off so I was just freaking out on the inside because I just wanted to be home safely. I was lucky enough to drive it here to 4ever and they had my problem fixed in less than an hour and charged me under $100. They were so kind and helpful and they even explained and actually showed me where the problem was! Thanks for saving me! :)
Ever is an excellent mechanic man. He is a person that you can trust with your vehicle. He will show you what parts were changed in your car with transparency. Some people want him to make miracles with very old vehicles but it's nearly impossible. Ever is straightforward person with his business in another words he is not going to tell you that is not true with your car.
Great service for your vehicle and very Courteous and knowledgeable staff... Ask for Mr. Green and he'll make sure to accommodate all your vehicle needs, always ask for a discount...they also take insurance claims..... good luck my friends and Happy Mother's day every day...blessings and keep up the good attitude...peace
