This company gave their movers a small truck to move my nearly new piano. They could barely get the piano rotated around so it would fit in the door of the truck. Then when they lowered it on the hoist, the hoist was slanted so it broke the foot on new piano and now, they are asking if they can go to the storage space to look at it to see if they can repair it. Really? #1 they have a reputation of stealing from storage spaces, #2 their claims email address on their forms did not work and I had to call them for the information. I'll never get paid. DO NOT USE THEM - THEIR EQUIPMENT IS CRAP AND THEY WILL NOT PAY ME FOR THE DAMAGE. They said, "you don't understand how the claims process works because i can see that you already ordered the new pedal". Like I am not going to order a new pedal? Really. Huge LOSERS!!!
Great Service. After searching online many different movers, 3 gorilla were the best, I was afraid after reviewing bad reviews online but their new manager Troy has confirmed me that I will get the good service and best rate up to my budget. The movers were very professional and on time. They have moved my stuff with proper protection and in efficient way. I would recommend 3 gorilla to my friends as well.
This is the third time I have used 3 Gorillas to help me move. They are very careful when handling boxes and furniture. They really work as a team and get the job done in a timely manner. I would recommend 3 Gorillas for anyone who needs moving and/or storage. However, expect to pay for the services which are rendered. Charges usually exceed original quoted price.
They were on time, worked hard, and were very cooperative. They had to move some very heavy and awkward furniture. This was a good value, saved me days of backbreaking labor, and was one of the best investments I have made in a long time. Although I was disappointed that two hard working men and not three gorillas showed up as I was anticipating. For the record I have actually worked closely with real gorillas, they are strong but I think the humans are better for moving furniture. You may want to specify which species you would like when making your reservation.
I had a great move, I was in a bad position and had to move out immediately ,I called around and got a lot of different quotes, 3 gorillas was not the cheapest but they were not only able to move me on short notice but were able to move my safe and pool table all at the same time, those guys came right out and packed and moved my whole house in one day, you get what you pay for in this world and I believe it was money well spent, would use these guys again and recommend them to all! great company!
The lead mover showed up after drinking. They moved Italian leather furniture without covering it and shoved it by stucco posts damaging the leather on both. A wood desk and shelving unit were moved with no protection on a dolly and both ended up with damage and scratches. When they showed up at the new house about 1/2 mile away they held the goods hostage in their truck until I gave them cash after the company had already agreed to a credit card. The lead mover even threatened to haul everything to the dump. After I paid cash they unloaded. I filed a claim 4-23-2013 and as of 8-20 they have not given me any resolution. When I call I am placed on hold over 20 min and am told they will call back. They never do. I have moved 5 times in the last 5 years and have never encountered such an unprofessional organization.
The movers from 3 Gorillas unnecessarily dismantled my back gate, damaging the anchors while moving our hot tub. When the hot tub was originally delivered it fit through our gate without issue. After removing the gate, the movers told me that they could not put the frame back up and even if they could, it wasn't their job. We had also arranged for a fridge to be moved from our new house to our old house the same day. This arrangement was only honored after arguing with the movers. We were quoted less than 1K for both moves. For approximately 3 hours of work we were charged almost 1500 dollars, and I had to go back and fix the gate myself. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
John came to my house and took inventory and entered it into his computer.Gave me a quote based on his estimate of weight. Cost was based on packing and loading ,storing in his warehouse for a couple months and delivering to my new house 200 miles away. Cost was for the complete move but did not include monthly storage cost. Cost was $2188 plus storage
The guys doing the actual move were very good. After the truck was loaded, it was weighed and the driver called and said the weight was seriously underestimated. Quote was based on 5500 lbs and actual was 7200 lbs.My cost would not be $2188 but be raised to $2760. They would honor the $200 per month cost of storage. I sent them a check for the revised cost after the driver reafirmed this would be my total cost.
After the first month I got a bill for $280 for monthly storage instead of $200. After several attempts we still do not have this resolved.
Called two days ago to set a delivery date. John said cost would be about $964 dollars to deliver to my new house. I said I had allready paid for a complete move including delivery to the new house. Made no progress with him, just excuses and the statement that I would have to pay more to get the furniture delivered.
Delivery is next week. Anxious to see how much money they demand.
DO NOT do business with this company.
