Best WLM Reviews

This is an amazing hidden neighborhood gem. It’s location is in an unexpected part of Lakewood. We drove about 30 min to get there and found it was well worth it. The staff and service was very professional and top notch. The food was delicious! Even though they were extremely busy on Easter, the food and service was not lacking in any way. It was a thinner cut of prime rib, but perfect in size, tenderness and flavor. Lived that it was served in a pool of au jus! The mashed potatoes were out if this world delicious. Our whole table commented on how they were unusually and uncommonly tasty! They have a secret ingredient, we’re sure! The lamb was tender and beautifully done. Highly recommend the sticky toffee pudding. I would put this restaurant with the best if the best restaurants in metro Denver! We will return!
Most pretentious restaurant ever—recently. Overpriced, terribly prepared food. I had the mussels, most of which were still closed, and the ones cooked seemed to have been cooked for days; shells disintegrated and mussels dissolved. Disappointing.
I did not try any of the “specials”; after such a sad experience w a staple on the menu, was thinking it would be foolish to believe descriptions of entrees at $42+ per plate.
Service? I hardly have words about the self-important bar tender. He says he’s been around for almost 20 years (and maybe he thinks it’s his bar to treat customers how he wishes), but I gently disagree. I don’t expect an indentured servant, but I do expect politeness and basic courtesy. It’s still a service industry, right? … or now are customers expected by the bartender to provide the service? Lol. I am polite —so why the chip on the shoulder, Mr. Bartender?
It is rare that I give such a low review—esp for a place I have been coming more than 20 years. So sad to lose one of my past favorites. Will not go again.
One of the best dining experiences I’ve experienced! I came in for my birthday dinner and I can’t express enough how amazing this place and service was! We were immediately greeted by our amazing server Diana, who was very attentive the whole night. We started off with the PEI muscles as an appetizer… phenomenal!! So delicious and tender. For my entree I ordered the Colorado lamb t-bone. This was my first time trying lamb and I was very impressed! Diana recommended drinks for us to try and all I can say is wow!! I cannot give 240 and Diana enough praise for making it a night to remember!! We were even given a free desert when we informed her it was my birthday. We will definitely be back soon! Thank for an amazing dinner!
A quality and fine dining restaurant 240 Union Restaurant sports an bar and open kitchen. The menu is limited and prices range between $25 and $40 with Drinks from $10 and up. Great customer service and wine selection with signature cocktails. The menu is seasonal and subject to change.
This place is excellent for a special night out and special occasion.
The best! This place has been around a while and there is a reason. Great food, staff, atmosphere. Can’t think of a better place in the metro area for an upscale dinner. They are kid friendly as well. Make a reservation and save room for dessert!
My boyfriend got sick after eating here this past Saturday evening.
There are a lot more ingredients in the food than what is listed on the menu so I don’t recommend this place for vegetarians or anyone with dietary restrictions or food allergies.
The menu descriptions are far from what you receive. This happened with all the food we ordered.
I wonder if they are trying to use up old food by tossing it in other things.
The taste wasn’t on par with the price point.
It’s a nice looking place.
The service was decent for today’s standards, but when I asked our waitress for olives because the greek salad I ordered came with none she tried arguing with me that she saw one in my bowl. I had to pull it out and show her it was a dark tomato piece.
The salad also unexpectedly had bland cold chicken chunks.
The black bean soup that was described as having radishes came with one single thin slice of radish and what appeared to be leftover shredded beef with a ton of chili powder. The menu made it sound like a creative vegetarian dish, it was mediocre chili. I even really like chili but this wasn’t good.
Since opening with current owner it has consistently provided excellent food from a seasonally varied menu delivered by a well trained, pleasant staff. The owner is omnipresent overseeing the smooth operation and helping the staff. It is my go to restaurant in Denver and I highly recommend it.
Upscale dining without the price tag! A diverse menu for everyone - everything is fresh and a beautiful presentation on the plate. The staff is super attentive, the location is easy to find, white linens, wonderful atmosphere, and impeccable service!
Make sure and check out their Prime Rib special on Sunday night, a hearty meal without breaking the bank.
We highly recommend you to visit this gem next time you are in the area, we always make reservations in advance but not it's not required.
They have a private dining room, its elegant ... perfect for hosting your Holiday party or large groups.
