The brisket grilled cheese was the best! Owner Theresa Acree puts her hart into her cooking. I could have done without the headbanging grunge music with the volume set at 11.
Stopped here for dinner passing through. Great environment! Great kids menu and had a high chair. Mellow scene. Fantastic service. Everyone was incredibly friendly and spent a few minutes to chat and make you feel comfortable like a regular! Food was absolutely amazing. Everything we got was so good I didn’t have a favorite.
Hubby and I love this fun eatery. The food was delicious and I had the special brisket sandwich and hubby had a brisket grilled cheese. Lots of great beers to choose from as well. Our service was excellent and we enjoyed the company of the bar tender too! We are definitely returning soon!!
Wow stopped here on our way from mammoth. We made the right choice. Food is amazing these hot dogs are to die for. If your are ask him Ng should I stop here the answer is yes.
We were passing through Bishop on our road trip and stopped here at 1903 Taproom for a bite and beer. Variety of beers on tap and bottle. We ordered the brisket and a bratwurst. Both were incredible delicious. The owner informed us the meat is clean and sourced locally. The meats were tender, flavorful, and NOT filled with a ton of fat.
The restaurant and bathrooms were clean, the owner was and servers were kind & attentive. If you’re just passing through or live in that area, we would highly recommend dining at 1903 Taproom.
*I noticed there were vegan options on the menu too!
The staff was nice and inviting and the food...amazing. A twist on your favorite comfort foods!!! Potato salad...yes! Brisket...yes!!!! Mac and cheese with brisket...absolutely yes!!!!
Welcoming brew pub in Bishop run by great people. They have a wide selection of beers on tap with a focus on local and hyper-local breweries.
The menu has sandwiches and pub grub, with gourmet hot dogs and slow cooked brisket.
I had the brisket sandwich which was great - juicy and tender meat on a gourmet style bun. The local IPA was also lovely as an accompanying beverage.
Saw the article about 1903 on the front page of the Reader, so I thought I’d check it out. Glad I did! Great food, service and atmosphere. Plenty to choose from. Football games could be fun here, lots of televisions. Definitely be back! Football is great here, 6 televisions and the iced tea is really good too!
