I had never tried Paraguayan food. So I was glad to find out there is a food truck only a few blocks away from me. I really liked the Mbeyu, which is like a cheese flatbread. I wanna try the chipas next.
Got the beef tenderloin chivito. Was an alright sandwich. Warm and filling and juicy but no flavor really popped out or was memorable. Good mixture of many different flavors. Other reviews says this is authentic Paraguay and Uruguay food. Friendly and fast service, just not my cuisine of choice
1811 is a really good place that gathers us as a community. In this occasion, my husband and I are helping 2 fellow musicians that just arribed from paraguay and we asked the Owner's who are our friends to give an space to the musicians to play theyr songs with the Paraguayan Uruguayan community and so they said yes! So we went and had a really good time singing alone with the boys, our friends and having good food and company!
The food is so delicious I felt like I was back in Paraguay enjoying every meal. The service and food here is just the best. I highly recommend this spot!!
One of the few places in the entire country that sells Paraguayan and/or Uruguayan food. I was visiting Ft. Lauderdale and drove an hour just to come here, and it was worth it. The Lomito Arabe hit the spot. It tasted exactly how I remembered it from Paraguay. I will be back someday.
