Just returned from a trip to Japan where we experienced several Karaoke rooms and this was the first Karaoke room we have been to in Michigan.
The room was great and we were able to get right into a small room and it was perfect for our small group of four. (The small room is good for up to 8).
The sound system was really good along with the microphone quality. Their TV is set to a YouTube premium account so there are no ads and it worked perfectly to pick any music.
I was not a fan of any of the food; lots of fried options. The drinks were okay, but we were not really there for the food and drinks.
For a small group of four the cost of an evening three hour room was expensive because it is the same price no matter the amount of people ($148 total with tax and service fees or amount $50 an hour)
We were in the room for three hours and it went by in a flash! Really had a great time
I recently visited 168 Crab and Karaoke, and overall, it was a great experience. The crab boil itself was delicious – the seafood was fresh, and the seasoning was spot on, providing that perfect blend of spices that made every bite enjoyable. The portion sizes were generous, and the variety of sides complemented the main dish well.
The only downside was that it took a while to get our food. However, the friendly staff and lively atmosphere helped pass the time. If you’re craving a flavorful crab boil and don’t mind a bit of a wait, 168 Crab and Karaoke is definitely worth a visit!
This place is cool for a party, and food is good. But if you are going thinking you can do Karaoke without booking a room, you cannot. The cheapest room is $30 an hour and you must book 3 hours minimum. The owner did say they where thinking having it in the main dinning area soon. So we shall see. The food was good and the drinks are string as hell. Which is good if you're doing Karaoke lol
Went for my husband birthday! We had a blast! Food was great! Everything is a little pricey! Drinks were good also! Our waitress was phenomenal her name was Sassy! She explained everything gave us great suggestions on food and was there when we needed anything! We also had allergies in our party and they made sure to cater to that !Thank you ! We will definitely be back!
Been here a couple of times, rooms are nice, small and large. Love that there are private bathrooms in each room, very convenient. The food was good! Had the wings, shrimp, spring rolls ,fries and the Crab boil, everything was delicious! The service was ok, it would've been nice if our waitress responded in a timely manner after we buzzed the button. Overall, I will definitely recommend for a night of fun!
The karaoke room that i was in was a decent size. I came here for a birthday party. I was happy they had a non sea food selection. Unfortunately, what I ordered was disappointing. I ordered wings and fried pickles. The pickles were the only thing that I ate. The wings are huge and very hard. I’m not sure if they were hard because the were fried hard or old and recooked. You can’t send anything back so that was a waste of money. I still informed the server he said “oh I’ll let the cook know”. You also have to pay for water.
I went last night for my friends bday celebration and the concept is amazing but everything else is mediocre and overpriced. We were in room 10, the karaoke machine kept cutting off and at one point started smoking, the sea food boil was shabby .. the cooks literally tried to stretch everything small potatoes and they cut a miniature corn slice in half!!
The actual server /waitress was awful and the drinks were weak. The Maintenance men did try to accommodate the hour we lost but overall “it wasn’t worth the money”.
I wish they had more meal options but the drinks were awesome! Our waitress Kim was super friendly and attentive. Our group at so much fun. I told everybody about how much fun I had.
