We came for the fried pickles and they were INCREDIBLE! The best fried pickle I’ve ever had and maybe the best fries too! Highly recommend getting the garlic aioli to dip in. The burgers were cooked exactly as we asked and the flavor was amazing! The staff was friendly staff and we can’t wait to visit again!
Unfortunately they had no steaks or pork chops when we visited. Although I can’t say much about the meat, my dad got the fish and loved it. My son experienced the same with the salmon. I ordered the hamburger but it wasn’t medium as I ordered however, was very flavorful. The potato skins were second to none and the honey mustard was fantastic. My husband enjoyed the roadhouse burger and reports that it was pretty good but far from the best he ever had. My daughter had the half chicken and sent it back because it was rubbery and the Mac n cheese had a funny aftertaste. My mom got the Cesar salad but it was just lettuce and dressing. Nothing to report there. We did order the fried pickles 3 times. They were the best thing as well as the fried green tomatoes even tho they were way overpriced.
Good place for that area but won’t return.
If you want a good meal come here. The food is amazing. Fresh and hot bursting with flavor. All hand made with local sourced meat. It’s absolutely fantastic.
And the staff puts the icing on the cake. Always checking up on you keeping drinks filled very quickly and always being over the top.
I recommend this place 10/10
Their chef hope is absolutely hands down the best I have ever had the opportunity to dine under. She has trained her staff well.
Well done guys amazing food and great people.
We came for breakfast close to lunch time. We had the servers full attention as her only customer at the time. She was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I had the tomato pie: a unique southern dish with cornbread as the base and layered with tomato, egg, cheese, and peppers on top. It was quite tasty. My fiancé had the two egg breakfast: over easy with sausage and home fries. He ate it all! Coffee was basic diner style- just ok.
Great food, drinks and service. One of the best margaritas I've had. We will definitely be back when we're in Campton again.
There was a live singer and guitarist, he performed very well and added to the atmosphere. The fried chicken sandwich was excellent! The fried pickle basket is enough for 3 to 4 ppl, only about 6 to 7 spheres, order 2 orders, because they are really good!
Ordered a ribeye dinner and bourbon burger combo. The meat tasted like it was cooked in a sweet butter. Not a bad flavor but that was the only flavor. The ribeye was a mediocre cut and "lightly flavored" means any seasoning was lumped in the middle but couldnt hardly taste it. The rolls were above average. For the quality, I would rate the burger price as average but the steak was overpriced. Quiet atmosphere. Sports bar feel. Chances of coming back? Doubtful.
Very nice little restaurant with a nice bar and an impressive bourbon collection. The fried pickles were the best I've ever had hands down. The breading was thin and so crispy. The staff was very friendly.
