My family ordered two tenderloin platters with fries and a medium rare ribeye steak with green beans and salad bar. The salad bar was fresh, the tenderloins looked to be homemade & the steak fries were undercooked a little for me and I'm not to picky about fries. My ribeye was juicy and tender and cooked perfect.
Another person at our table had a smothered chicken and baked potato which was well seasoned but a little tough from being over cooked. While another ordered a 24oz porter house which came out with mushrooms and onions on it & corn on the side but they forgot the mashed potatoes “because they were making a new batch”. The steak was way under done and considering it’s a $40 steak, he asked the waitress if she could have them cook it just a little more After about 6 minutes his steak came back out “without the mushrooms onions or mashed potatoes”. He again cut into the steak “this time down the middle” and found it was completely RAW! At this point she brings out the potatoes “which were ICE COLD” I assume from being stored in the refrigerator.
The waitress brought out the bill and said oh by the way she didn’t charge him for the steak, but everything else was on the bill! The manager never even came to our table to speak with us!
Ate out on the deck, we both had the fried walleye with steak fries and salad bar. Everything was excellent including our server. First time we've been there since new owners took over and we were very pleased! Highly recommend!
I would NOT recommend this restaurant! This was the first time we've been there since new owners. Wow, it was NOT a good experience. There were 7 of us that went early so hardly anyone there. There were a lot of staff members that didn't seem to be doing much other than talking & we still had really bad service! Our smothered chicken was burnt & tasted awful along with some of the sides!! I would recommend the walleye but not much else. If you look at the menus on Facebook before going it does not match the in house menu. The place does not look clean or organized with signs hanging crooked. I give the service & the food a Thumbs Down!

Cons: We waited 35 minutes just for a refill when it wasn't busy. Two waitresses were up by the bar scrolling on their phones while we waited.
The bloomin onion was black... the breading was burned. I like Cajun style but this was just burned
The Alaskan walleye tasted like it sat on a warmer for 2 hrs before it was served. (Maybe this was a fluke as I will try it again)
Pros: Things mentioned above are growing pains and need to be voiced so that they can be fixed.

I haven't had the steak, But it does look excellent and prepared well from the others that purchased it at our table.
Very hospitable staff, and the interior decorations are on par for what you'd expect of a great hometown restaurant. Fast responses from the waitresses, and the chicken noodle soup and shrimp cocktail are done well. The menu is moderately sized, with categories that should fit most people palates. Fantastic food, I would recommend eating there if you are in town
The atmosphere is great, beautiful view of the river. The food is outstanding! Best walleye I've ever had! Savanna was our waitress and she was excellent! A+ all around!
I love it here.. friendly host and wait staff... great food... and overall great experience... The steak was perfect and so was my son burger.. great family environment... highly recommend
