A pretty decent classic gyro. If I had to do it over again I think I would customize it a bit more, as it didn't come standard with lettuce or feta like many other competitors do. I think I would have gone for fries as well, but in such a small place I can maybe understand they didn't want a deep fry machine. All in all it was pretty good, really friendly staff. Almost reminded me of having a picnic lunch with the tables out front. I would say it's probably the best option for Greek near the south side.
I thought I had good greek food before but apparently not! Haven’t had an actually GOOD gyro before I came to this place. Decent prices, great food and you know its good when they got an nice older woman behind the counter who has been there done that and knows whats good. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
This is a Small Walk Up Style Family Owned and Operated Traditional Greek Gyro & More Shop Today We Visited For The First Time, And Had The Traditional Gyro, The Meat Was Moist, Tender and Flavorful, Seasoned Just Enough, The Taziki Sauce Was Creamy and Delicious, Neither Were Overpowering, The Pita Was Soft and The Veggies Fresh, Great Sandwich The Small Staff Was Very Welcoming and Personable, and Made The Experience That Much More Enjoyable, The Smells Coming From The Kitchen Were An Immediate Clue To The Flavors We Would Soon Enjoy as Everything is Prepared FRESH ( Small Side Note Many May Have Never Noticed is Definitely Not For Yhe General Public But Caught My Attention, Was a Small Handwritten Sign That Read If It Even Looks Like Grease Clean it Up Which is a Sign Of The Owners CLASS And Desire To Run a Clean Safe Establishment in My Opinion) The Star of My Meal Today However Was The Baklava Freshly Prepared This Was Flaky, Sweet, Gooey, Cinnamon Infused Deliciousness By Far The BEST I've Had In My Many Years Of Reviewing, The Portions Of All Items Were Plentiful and Filling Great Little Greek Spot KICH Radio Approved/ Definitely Give it a Try at Least Once #SizzlesaidIt.
I like this place but today I'm disappointed. My veggie gyro had vegetables that were not listed anywhere and it had no tomatoes. Further, the cucumbers were peeled, seeded and chopped very thickly. I can assure you, most people are not picky about their cucumbers like that. It was like the cooks were in a massive rush and didn't care about presentation or flavor.
Friendly, proud of their work, chitchatted, very quick service, sitting outside on a warm day or you can take it to go on a not so warm day. Totally come here it is outstanding. Love, these people!
The food was the best! we were on our way to another restaurant when we saw Zorba’s and decided to turn around and I’m happy we did!! The food was absolutely amazing. The service was very fast and friendly. The only thing to keep in mind is there is nowhere to dine inside, however the tables outside were very nice and clean so it wasn’t an issue at all. The little lady working the window was the absolute sweetest. I can’t recommend this place enough.
A real gem! Great authentic Greek food. The gyro and veggie gyro are both fantastic. Everything is fresh and delicious. Today I got the appetizer plate for the first time and what a value! you can never leave without the baklava.
Absolutely delicious food, higher quality than most. The staff was friendly and personable. Coming from Denver, I have missed out on quality Greek food. Very grateful to find this hidden gem.
