If you love trying food from other countries, I would highly recommend this spot. At 7pm the restaurant was almost full. I didn’t hear anyone speak english, except for when the servers spoke to me. I dont think they have an english menu. These are all great indicators that I’m at an awesome spot. The service was very slow, as there was only 2 kind gentlemen serving the entire restaurant. The expectation was clear that you need to flag them down rather than wait from them to ask you if you need anything. I got the UŠTIPAK (chicken with mushrooms and cream) and it was fantastic. I tried a beer and some liquors that I saw many other people in the restaurant order and enjoyed the experience. I saw some people order some sort of fresh crepe with whipped cream for dessert and it looked amazing — im looking forward to bringing my wife to this restaurant and trying that. Ill come back again when i have time to spare before or after going to o’hare.
WAY over capacity! You couldn't turn around as you walked in and they just keep letting people in. Pricey cheap wine but the clincher was the lousy attitude of the owner/manager trying to herd people off the patio like cattle. Way too many ethnic places in Chicago to spend money on a lousy time. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because I met some nice people while sitting outside:)
Everything is good. Place is great, county style, clean too. Food is delicious, but price is to much. For 2 people to eat a lunch is gonna cost you around 100$, come on.
Nice neighborhood restaurant with authentic Serbian food. We loved the beef soup and goulash. The stuffed cabbage used smoked meat and was not to our taste but we ate it. They also had home made Serbian sausages and other authentic Serbian foods but we didn't get to try them. The host was not very attentive but we hailed him repeatedly and didn't care.
I hate to leave bad reviews but this restaurant made me write down this negative review to make aware other people of how the owner is treating clients.
We are neighbors in Europe and have very similar food cuisine and music which made us go to the restaurant so we could have dinner and listen to music.
My husband loves the music from former Yugoslavia and he was very happy but then around 10.30 pm the owner came and asked him if we were going to stay till the end which we would but the owner said he promised our table to other people so if we can leave.
This was strange for us. My husband got frustrated and told us we were leaving. I have never had an experience like this and most likely would not return.
Not to mention that the food came at 10.00 pm when we came to the restaurant at 7.30 pm. The food was not that good. The food was kind of burned And VERY Expensive for the type of restaurant and class of Restaurant
I would not give even 2 stars for that place.
The restaurant didn't impress in anything other than disappointment. Everything we asked for, as it turned out, they had run out while the cook was working. They call it a restaurant, but it is similar to the canteen at school when something runs out. The menu is simple, the service was a 4 and only for the waiter doing his best.

Absolutely recommend. Great service, ambiance and food 10 stars. I need to stretch my stomach so i could try more of this great food. -UPDATE- back for the second time and it did not disappoint, great food amazing ambiance. Happy to have a place like this to splurge on
Guy outside said come on in. He had an apron on, so I am assuming he worked there. He went in a different door. I went in the door for patrons, and I got turned away? I was about to spend some money. In my mind I had already spent it. Big tip for the bartenders. Paying for premium liquor. I was looking forward to checking the place out. I’m off for the next few days. Was really excited. Won’t waste my time in the future. Oh well. Just like this place won’t care about me, I will move on like this place never existed.
