We were here to celebrate our friend's birthday, one fine afternoon at Zeppelin Hall Biergarten. It’s conveniently located along the light rail line.

Even in the early afternoon, Zeppelin Hall was pretty crowded. we thought it was a small pub but it's a huge establishment. Big halls, outdoor seating arrangements, another big hall for the event- means the more you walk, and you feel like- is it ever going to end?

At the center is a high, wood-top bar where tenders, barely visible behind a wall of tap handles (38 to be exact), busy themselves serving beer in heavy glass steins, available in pint, mug, or liter size

Three separate bars and Every bar has different beers on tap, so you should rotate from bar to bar for the full selection.

We had a couple of beers (wheat, strawberry cider, & Hofbrau), explored the area, chit chatted, and laughed- a good time it was!

it's not your classy restaurant, no one gonna guide you to the table or ask for your order. just go there, sit anywhere you like, and chug it.

I like the vibe, coolness quotient was too high ;)

Zeppelin revelers have been known to cheer as the train travels past about every twenty minutes—I'm not sure why but don't question the collateral effects of 32-ounce mugs of strong German beer.

I did like their Beer glasses- and enquired about 'is it for sale' - unfortunately- it was not... poor me

Also, bring your pets! It’s pet friendly.

and hey the best part- PARKING is free: light rail parking is also available for Zeppelin folks (just google 'Zeppelin Hall parking' and it will take you there). you don't need to validate it, just park it and have a good time.

This place has a lot of place inside to sit and also has an outdoor place as well.

Overall good atmosphere and party vibe, good to hang out with friends.

They can do better with bar and kitchen orders where you have a stand in 2 long queues to order food and drinks

Love this place and vibe here. The food is also nice with ample options for Vegetarians too.

Authentic and delicious sausages with sauerkraut. I wish they would give you Bavarian mustard to the sausages, otherwise really tasty!

The gigantic Pretzel was soft with a good taste. Unfortunately it's buttered/oiled outside which reduces the nice taste of the Pretzel, but I can still recommend it.

The beer selection is good and they offer Hofbräu beer from Munich from the tap which is definitely worth trying!

It's a self service restaurant, hence the low rating on the service. The people were all very friendly though.

This is our go to spot for food/drinks with a large group. The food and drinks are good. You have options for dinning: you can be served in their dining room or you can order at a window and you can eat outside or in the main hall. They are also dog friendly and have a private space you can rent

We love this spot—the ambiance, the people, and the food. We will come again and again. However, the use of 1-liter plastic beer mugs is disappointing. You can do better!

This city bar is enormous, featuring plenty of outdoor seating. The bar and food ordering areas are separate. The food was excellent; I had the big pretzel platter with meats, which was fantastic. While I didn't care for the mustard or BBQ sauces, that was just my personal preference

Haven't been back in Jersey City for quite some time. This was the perfect spot for our High School reunion. Very casual and chill. We all met up after 22 years. Drinks were good and fast. Bar food was good. Awesome staff.
