I've been coming to Zenko for over 5 years. Sadly, their sushi is no longer high quality. Before the pandemic they had all you can eat sushi that was incredible! I enjoyed my food there every time I went. However now, all you can eat is sub-par. It's nice that they still offer it though! They are one of the last all-you-can-eat sushi restaurants in the area. Just don't expect high quality fish.
They receive 3 stars because I still go here, and I believe that they provide good service! Please check them out, it's worth a visit!
Great sushi but the service was slightly lacking. The all you can eat was a great value but they do charge if you don't finish your meal.
Fantastic Sushi restaurant located conveniently off the 5 freeway. The food is fresh, delicious, and satisfying. The service is terrific and highly recommend it for lunch and dinner.
Let me start off by saying we love no where near this restaurant but drive over an hour to come about once or twice a year. It is worth it! The staff is so friendly and the food is amazing. The variety of rolls in the all you can eat can't be beat. I highly suggest the BSCR and the baked green mussels, they are a must!
What a joke! $28 for all you can eat sushi and the food sucks. 80% rice, 20% fish. Older lady who was the waitress was rude. Rolls were tasteless, such a bad experience! What a waste of $60 for me and my girl friend. Didn't even order a second round...
Clean place as far as I could see. But the sushi was nasty and pricey. I ordered baked scallop roll and some other cooked rolls that came out raw and very smelly. Seaweed was very chewy I had to send some back and I’m not new to sushi. Would not recommend
WARNING: Not recommended for sushi lovers!
This all-you-can-eat (AYCE) $20 sushi place was gross! And this is coming from a person who's not that picky and loves to eat a lot of almost anything. Everything had TOO MUCH RICE in it and the (bad quality) rice tasted old! We had a hard time finishing our food, but we did our best because they charge you for wasting food, especially the rice. All the rolls we ordered looked the same and tasted very similar, even the rainbow roll! I'm not sure how it got rated over 4 stars either. The customers in this area probably never had good quality sushi. The cheap $4 sushi rolls at the supermarket taste way better.
The server rushed us on ordering, too. Who does that? She even watched us like a hawk. She probably thought we were going to hide our food in the only napkin she gave us. It's one napkin per person, unless you ask for more, which again will be one per person.
Our food took forever to come out. We only ordered one round. Usually we order 3 rounds, but it was really hard for us to enjoy the food. Sorry to say this, but eating here ruined my weekend. I'll be spending my time at the gym burning all the wasted calories I consumed from the sushi, or maybe I should be bulimic for the day.
I came here during my lunch break. Now I just wanna go home...
Been here a year ago. You cant go wrong with the hana sake lychee very sweet sake accompanied with the all you can eat rolls! They make them per order fresh unlike other buffet places. They have quite a selection!! It is sunday and theres about 2 tables left open so it gets busy!
