Zaza To Go don’t play!
Their power people through that line like crazy- which is great if you’re in a hurry!
I got their Cheese Danish- one of the best I’ve had in my life: a generous herring of thick, creamy cheese at the center, icing on top and a perfect pastry- not too flaky nor too dense.
I highly recommend getting this off you like pastries! I may have to try the cinnamon roll next time!
The food was enjoyable. I stopped here because I didn’t want a cold salad from those “express” food stations. I was craving something light yet good, and the bowl was perfect. Mix the bowl if you want your bowl flavorful.
My partner got the Cuban sandwich, and he said it was a good sandwich. The bread was crispy, and it had plenty of ham, so the sandwich wasn’t dry. I also ordered an Iced Mocha. The drink was bittersweet (which I liked), so don’t expect a sweet mocha drink like the one at Starbucks/ McDonalds.
Beef empanadas with garlic and spicy sauce on the side. ????
You’re welcome. You can thank me later.
Shrinkflation at its best. The food portions used to be bigger and now are smaller than they used to be. The staff seemed either tired or overworked as well and overall wasn't a pleasant experience. The cash register asked me to tip a second time so not sure if that is just a new tipping culture thing and the tables were all dirty. Left still feeling hungry after spending close to $20. Highly not recommended.
My fiancé drinks his coffee straight black. I don't. The young lady asked me if I'm sure I want it like that, it is very strong. Told her it was for him and we both laughed. Anyways, he loved it! Just how he loves his coffee! I loved the beef empanadas! I loved how the ladies kept the line flowing with ease and a positively friendly attitude! I would shop there again when I'm on the go!
So when I worked at MCO, our office was almost directly beneath this place. Needless to say, but nearing the end of a 10-hour night shift, this place opened up nice and early and was our little reward daily for making it through another night.
The good: Quick, friendly, tasty.
The bad: I mean, it's an airport. It's a small shop with a big demand. Other than a crowded line, which you can't really put on the shop itself, there's no bad here.
The verdict: If you're wondering if you can get a decent cup of coffee and some empenadas somewhere in this terminal before your flight, let me tell you that you're in for a pleasant surprise here. This shop is something I actually miss about living in Orlando!
Cuban sandwiches are hot, ready to go & DELISH, friendly service—but the cinnamon roll—-BEST IVE EVER HAD—where can I get these outside of the airport? I have a birthday and want to get some to take! Life changing delish!!!
Good for a quick bite. The empanadas where ok but room temp. Flavor was on point for the chicken. The cheese and ham reminds me of an after school frozen snack but wrapped in flaky empanada crust. The Cuban chicken bowl could use some flavor but not bad. For airport food its what you would expect but has potential.
