The manager reached out to me and apologized. She took the steps to resolve my concerns and try them again. I went back another time and had a completely different experience, and it was good.
Zaxby's food is really awesome. In Georgia, I was a once a week regular to the local store, which is why I was so glad to see this location open in Ogden. From the very first visit the service experience was lack-luster. I have been back several times for the food.
My experience today was no different. Food is great, no complaints. Although I have specific examples, the general attitude of the people that work there seems to be that they are inconvenienced by my presence. It's a weird feeling, but consistent over the last couple of years.
It just doesn't feel like they want me there.
For a place that is all about chicken, I was suprised by how weird their chicken tasted. I don't know if it's a spice or, but the actual chicken had a weird taste. I got the Nibblerz and found a piece of blue plastic in one of my chickens. Fries were good. This is the first time I've eaten at a Zaxby's and will be the last, not because of the plastic but because of the weird taste of the chicken.
I come here pretty often for salads in an attempt to eat a tiny bit healthier. Their salads are pretty good. I typically have the grilled house salad, and sometimes extra toast. It's definitely not perfect, but decent for a quick salad. Staff is friendly and usually recognize me and my order.
I went through the drive through and they never gave my credit card back. When I called them they acted like it was my fault and weren’t helpful. Since I don’t live local it has been a huge pain. The chicken on my sandwich was like a rubber tire too. Avoid this place at all cost!
Whole restaurant had a disgusting, over powering floral smell. Chicken is slimy and HEAVILY over salted. Bread is cold amd wet. Not just soggy, but turned to mush.
We went around 8:00pm and there was quite a line. All to find out there was only one person on the floor. Hunter did an amazing job, he was not only being super polite at the drive through he was also bagging and checking people out. He helped with every thing we needed while also helping someone with there order at the drive through. We certainly hope he is getting paid enough for his effort. It not easy doing that and he made it look as it was! Thank you Hunter!
I wanted to come try this place out since I was let down by Raising Canes the other day. I heard zaxbys is the next best thing to a chicken place. This place is by far worse. I got the boneless wings and things plate. My boneless wings were hard as rocks, my chicken fingers were super old, and my fries were disgusting. They even burnt the toast. It was not worth the amount of money we paid here and it is very unacceptable... staff was rude at the drive thru when I asked about recommendations on their menu... I do not recommend coming here, save your money.
I’ve tried several times to use the app to order food. I always get a message saying “Not taking online orders at the moment.” That is frustrating! When I go to the restaurant to order food it always takes longer than usual. In the end the food is overpriced for the quality. Very disappointing.
