Ordered chicken tenders. This is what I received something that looks like nuggets. Over $8 for nuggets. And I ordered unsweet tea. Nope received sweet. This was poured down the drain.
The new shrimp offering is decent for fast food, though the shrimp varied in size a lot. This location recently remodeled, and there's nothing up on the walls now, so the place is dull as can be. They also didn't have readily-accessible catsup for the fries. But the fries are still pretty good and the roast is tasty, so overall it's an alright meal.
Waited 30+ minutes, while waiting 10 minutes for our food we witnessed 6+ employees standing around, doing nothing. Some were eating, licking fingers, slurping straws right over the food, and even bagging trash with food prep gloves on. Was absolutely disgusting to watch hoping they would not be the ones to bag our food, of course knowing they weren't going to do anything but joke around and eat company food.
7-09-2023 - I went into eat lunch at Zaxby’s on 43rd in Gainesville, FL, I stood at the counter for nearly 10 minutes with two people behind the counter chit-chattering with each other, one finally walked up to the register and asked if he could take my order. I ordered my food to-go. Once he brought me my order, I walked over to fix my drink and decided to sit down and eat. The only item that was in the bag was the order. No Zaxbys sauce, napkins, ect.
Once I walked over to a table to sit and eat, I noticed water dripping from the ceiling. Every table was dirty. Food was on the floor over a large area. Water was in several places on the floor, besides the area where the water was dripping out of the ceiling, in that area all the tables and chairs were moved and stacked.
Once I ate my food and got ready to leave, the trash cans were full and over-flowing. And finally I decided to go to the bathroom to wash my hands and the trash-can there was overflowing with paper-towels.
And the restaurant wasn’t even busy. This location really needs some improvements. Please see the photos.
Last note: the flooring over the entire restaurant was very slippery. Like some overly large amounts of cleaning supplies was used causing the dry areas to be slippery. Very hazardous - folks can slip and fall very easily.
Had a pick up order. Showed up after the quoted time to allow for my food to be made. I walk in and there are 10 employees just hanging out. Drive through line wrapped around the building. One employee was wiping tables and the rest are just chilling. I waited inside for almost 30 minutes for my order to finally be made when I placed it 40 minutes prior to arriving. This place needs an entire new crew. This is a sick joke.
We ordered a chicken meal and several sides for my vegetarian daughter and both meals were delicious. The fries were so tasty and the veggie egg rolls were excellent. It is nice to see a fast food with vegetarian options.
Never gets orders correct. Serves food that’s sat under food lamps that make things taste as hard as croutons. Use to be a favorite
Don’t even recommend feedback zaxbys listens site to me, it’s not applicable, not acceptable, offers not a single real resolution and is a way for this location to push off the extra work of handling their complaints
update 4/1:
they requested i contact the site I asked not to be directed to. I spoke with their regional manager who apologized for this location’s unprofessional approach to customer service. I was given a couple of gift cards for my experience.
One was delivered by two men standing side by side with a female name as person delivering while on phone with zaxbys (intimidating) and the other was as normal-except each time sauces were missing, bread was like cardboard and customer service was very confused as to why the location isn’t handling their complaints themselves pushing the extra work off.
Ordered delivery through the zaxbys app. When it came we were missing 3 items. When we tried to contact the store with the number provided above it did nothing but ring we called 7 times and were not able to get through to someone. We are still out our items and our money. I am a forgiving person because mistakes happen but this is ridiculous your customers should be able to get ahold of you when there is an issue. If you don’t want people to call you don’t put your phone number up.
