One of my favorite late-night spots. The food is always on point. I had a long day and awoke not wanting to cook with a hankering for fried chicken. I already knew where I wanted to go. I just KNOW someone’s grandma is in the kitchen (I love home cooked meals).
If you want your taste buds satisfied and with FRESHLY COOKED food… this is your spot.
Aakash & Marlee were the best, recommend this place over other local places. Friendly and welcoming! The best drinks, really recommend the king gin drink. Scan the QR code for 2 for 1 drinks!!
Mann we stopped in for my friends friends party and let me tell you if was off the CHAIN!! I usually party downtown so to find out it’s a place this close to home with good food and drinks surprised me. The party was packed out wall to wall and the service was great despite all the folks in there. My boy and I even enjoyed our cigars on the patio with the heaters. Staff was making them drinks in record breaking time I don’t think I ever had to wait long for a drink. I got a chance to meet the owners and they were super cool, very humble and down to earth. I’ll definitely be back I’m glad I was introduced to this place…so good to see a black owned bar in my neighborhood thriving and nice like this. The patio was definitely a plus!!
First time going so my experience and review may change later, but on this visit, it was to see Erica Dawson Exclusive band perform. I did like the mac and cheese, mash potatoes and gravy, and the collards were ok as well. I'm not sure if the menu changes daily or they have a set menu because I didn't order off a menu. The staff was nice and seemed liked they were enjoying their night which is a plus in my book. I will post another review when I return.
Everytime I go to Zanza bar I have a wonderful time. Great music, great food and great drinks. The outdoor patio has a heated lamp for the winter to keep you warm while smoking cigars. Pookie, Gabby, and Mo always make sure I am taken care of.
Atmosphere was decent the drinks was very expensive to me had two beers and two mixed drinks and it was 50 bucks. Went there with a friend I don't think I'll come back.
We visited this restaurant a couple days ago, and it was absolutely fantastic!!! The food was out of this world good. Everything is made fresh every day, and it shows. The fried grouper, fried whole wings, rice and beans, fried green beans, fried zucchini, and onion rings were so delicious! The service was outstanding. They treated us like we were their best friends. What a refreshing experience! We will make this a regular stop.
Was in town for a friends bday. We came in on a Sunday at 5:00pm. Only one server. We finally order our food. At 6.30 they brought out one of the persons food. It’s now 6:56 pm and the other 2 ppl still haven’t gotten their food. We waited for a hour and a half still no food. I will ABSOLUTELY never be back…
