Best WLM Reviews

Probably one of the premier delicatessen store in NYC offering a fine selection of smoked fish, gourmet cheeses, and many other specialties. You can also enjoy their superb products and services by catering for your special events. Highly recommended!
This has been my go-to place when I want to buy groceries. They carry a big variety and a good quality of products from countries around the world. But I need to mention something important. Their prices change a lot! For example up until 2 months ago I used to buy the power green salad for $5.99. Nowadays for the same lbs I buy it for up to $8-$9. I’m buying specific items so I can tell the difference. Other than that everything is great.
Very tasty sandwich and bagel. Affordable too! Ordered for pick-up right off of google search which I believe is linked to Toast. Do this because it works and saves a long wait given the time of day you plan to go!
Vietnamese Coffee: Iced option only, was good. Not typically as sweet as it usually is made though which I preferred.
Bacon Egg and Cheese on a Roll: Got it toasted, was very tasty and didn’t get soggy as a to-go order. The egg is prepared very well!
Everything Bagel w/ Scallion Cream Cheese: Very tasty bagel, light, smaller than the massive ones (what I was expecting). Cream Cheese was your regular ones you can make at home so nothing to rave about. Would try the lox next time.
Travelled quite a few kilometres to try this place as I had heard rave reviews. I assumed their classic smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel was going to be legendary. It was just fine, nothing out of the ordinary. It was a nice location to walk to Central Park and eat there. There was a long line but it moved fairly quickly.
Great coffee beans and also I love all their cooked food. The man serving is also very nice. Its a bit pricy but none of the food disappoints me.
Always super packed in both the small store and café. It’s a little messy but that’s honestly part of the charm. They have products I wouldn’t be able to find elsewhere. They have the best bagels and staff is pretty nice. I however think they put too much cream cheese on bagels at the café, but that’s personal preference.
It’s a destination spot for a reason…
We go there every trip when we visit my brother
I’m a little concerned they called a Pain au Chocolat a “chocolate croissant” but that’s just me being a snob lol
So glad I got to stop at this spot on my iconic grocery store mental checklist. An incredible variety of cheese, deli, baked goods, and ready to eat options. They also have a coffee roaster, housewares upstairs, and a separate small cafe off the main store. It’s easy to see its far reaching influence on shops like Zingermans and beyond. I now finally understand why people go crazy for rugelach and why their name is synonymous with babka. Don’t sleep on the strudel- I honestly wish I had a kitchen on my visit just so I could get more from Zabar’s.
Foodies and gourmands — this spot is for us! For those visiting the first time, Zabar’s is separated by function - the furthest left door will take you to the quick service food counter and all others will take you to the shop. You can buy anything from freshly ground coffee to Le Creuset cookware on the shop side of things. This is a quality place and I only wish I lived right around the corner from it.
