Best WLM Reviews

I went here somewhat on a whim on an offhand comment from a friend, and was not prepared to be blown away as much as I was. The food was second to none, service was attentive despite the fact that it was busy, atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, and most of all affordable!
I came here just to try it but it's become one of my favorite places immediately.
Oh! And I recommend the yuzu lemonade, not sure I'll ever be able to enjoy regular lemonade again.
Zap Thai is a great family owned restaurant! If you want authentic Thai food then you need to pay them a visit. The food is made to order and is fresh which explains the slower service. If you’re in a rush or have limited time to eat, save this place for when you have more time. It was clean, and the family/employees are super friendly! This was our first time here so we got Thai tea, red curry with chicken, pad Thai and the spring rolls. The food was delicious! The spice levels were on point and we left happy. There’s not much parking, so plan accordingly excuse this place can get busy. They were also short staffed in the kitchen when we went, so the wait times might be longer when it’s busy. Just sit and relax! We’ll be going back and I highly recommend!
I had a beef pad Thai! It was really good and inexpensive. The owners were really kind and welcoming. Always ask for recommendations. I'll definitely come back
Yellow curry and pad Thai were amazing. Both were spice level “4” but the curry was much much spicier. Service was really slow but the two young guys were nice. One star off for charging for tap water. What is that a charge to use their cup?
****HIGHLY RECOMMEND****We were visiting from out of town and where we're from we lack Thai options. We found this place and it was fairly close to where we were staying. Very nicely decorated inside. Family owned and operated! My wife got the green curry and I had Pad Thai with chicken. The quality of food and flavor did not disappoint! Just the right amount of heat and goodness to every bite. We enjoyed meeting the owner and trying the food and we would recommend it to others and will be visiting again when we get the chance to go back to Shreveport!
The Thai food here does not disappoint, easily the best we’ve had in the area. We’ve tried a few different appetizers, which have all been delightful but our go-to for dinner is the Penang curry, spice level 5! Has the perfect blend of sweet and spicy and the vegetables are always perfectly cooked. The service is always great and the food has always been perfect whether we are dining in, picking up takeout, or having it delivered. The best Thai food in the area and one of the best restaurants in this area in general.
This is a nice hole-in-the-wall restaurant with a comfortable atmosphere. I came with friends and we had an enjoyable time. I ordered Khao Soi with chicken breast at a spice level of 2. It was different than anything I’ve tasted, very sweet and spicy at the same time. We ordered water and tea, all of which were bottled. Very filling and would definitely come back!
Best Thai food in the area in my opinion. Spice levels seem to vary with the dish, but it’s really good food. I like to order a Thai tea with my meal to cool it down a bit, but they put too much ice in it for such a small cup and they charge extra for no ice. They also charge $1 for water, just a heads up. Portion sizes are big, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I recommend the pineapple fried rice or red curry. Try the mango sticky rice as a dessert, its delicious but it’s not on the menu.
